Great quiet location. Large room with balcony. Fantastic pool and exceptional breakfast. Really friendly family staff. 2 minutes to the beach.

We stayed at Morning Star Mirissa for three nights and enjoyed a lot! Al the staff was lovely and helpful, always providing us with information or helping out with anything needed. The pool area is amazing, the hotel is very clean, well maintained and the beds are super comfortable! The location is amazing and very close to many good restaurans, great beaches and activities! We went swimmng with turtles for the first time and also did a Crocodile Safari tour in Matara from here. We can definitely recommend and would love to come back one day!

Location is excellent, staff is very friendly, the plants and animals you see around put you in the heart of Sri Lanka
The hotel’s entrance is inconveniently located directly on the main street. Since there’s no dedicated drop-off or pickup area, getting in and out of vehicles can be difficult, especially during busy traffic.
