The stay at Jungle Soul was amazing. Room had a balcony with scenic jungle view. The host was super polite and nice. The location is nice and breakfast was amazing. Would visit again.

A small, simple jungle hotel with great atmosphere (no “luxury,” but that wasn’t what we wanted). Clean on arrival. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a balcony, and it had both air conditioning and a fan (AC makes a big difference—without it, it’s very humid because of the surrounding greenery). The beach is about a 5-minute walk away, and the town center is a quick tuk-tuk ride. Breakfast was tasty—something new every day (no menu/choice).
No room сleaning during our stay (maybe it’s on request—we realized it too late to ask).

The property is slightly set back from the main road, so it is very quiet at night and perfect for a peaceful sleep. The owner is extremely friendly and always ready to help or give advice. Breakfast is also available on-site, which is very convenient.
In our room, the bathroom is all in one space (shower, toilet, and sink). After showering, the water does not drain properly, so the entire bathroom floor becomes wet, which is inconvenient. The bathroom would benefit from renovation. Some lights in the room were also not working. However, for a short stay and just for sleeping, it is sufficient.

The room is well equipped with A/C, a ventilator, a fridge, a table and chairs, ….
Monkeys will visit you at the balcony.
The pictures let you assume it used to be really nice place. However, reality is that the hotel is quite old and not in shape anymore.
The balcony is not nice for sitting or drying cloths - because of water dripping and the monkeys.
