breakfast as usual was exceptional and staff as well. enjoyed the new toiletries zero% skincare. suggest separating large groups from guest for breakfast.

Perfect Stay

We will be booking this hotel going forward when we visit Virginia Beach. It is in the perfect location that is walking distance to restaurants and shops, rooms look exactly like the photos, live band, beautiful ocean views, and the beds were comfortable! Ice machine in each flower and a microwave in the room. The staff were friendly and made we sure we were good throughout our stay. Thanks to Audrey at the front desk!

I would just say the one elevator but it was not a big deal. It only took a few minutes waiting then it moves fast.

We’d definitely stay again.

Beds were very comfortable and the ocean front is amazing!!! Older gentleman helping in lobby was wonderfully friendly and all smiles.

Bed smelled like BO🤨, only 2 towels( no waters, no pen or paper to write on. Only 1 working elevator used by all guest and hotel maids, staff….took Forever. Asked for hotel management to call me back 5 times, never received 1 phone call. Needed to change my reservation dates due to family emergency ( had proof / documents) was my 40 th wedding anniversary. Booking .com sent 5 emails noting was up to the property management to change dates, no refund. Girl at front desk took my message the day of check In. Assured us management would call by noon either way. Didn’t want to lose Our $$ so my husband & I were not able to travel together. Only myself and cried the whole weekend. Worst 40 th anniversary and we’ll never forget. 😞

Great hotel in best location!

Great location, comfortable beds, giant TV in room for watching football, and overall very clean.

Great location, clean, pet friendly, easy parking.

Location is fabulous. Plenty of parking. Very pet friendly, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, as we have a 60 pound husky mix. And Yolanda, who worked the breakfast room, was the sweetest, so friendly and attentive, we loved her!

Room was somewhat small, and the patio door to the balcony was very hard to open and close. There was only one working elevator, which made for long wait times over the weekend. Housekeeping did not replenish coffee supply in room.

Nice location but don’t stay in this poorly managed hotel.

Elevator not working for weeks. Management completely unconcerned and disrespectful.

It was a great time for the entire family.

The staff is wonderful! They are helpful and kind. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are spacious. The location is in a great place, close to shops and restaurants. The view is spectacular.

There was only one elevator that worked. That made it difficult, especially when we had to take an elevator.

Very friendly and close to everything.

I love being right on the boardwalk and close to everything, the staff was amazing they made you feel like family to them I really enjoyed all of the staff here and the food was amazing. The staff are top of the line here!

This hotel only had one elevator working so it made it hard for my father-in-law to walk up the stairs so much, but overall, I do not have any complaints. This is truly an amazing hotel.

Location was great, hotel needs repairs.

The breakfast was fresh with a lot of variety and hot selections. The location was perfect, right on beach.

Elevator was broken, pool was very small, rooms were not very sound proof. Last night there was loud music throughout the evening that prevented us from sleeping.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with awesome staff!

Super friendly and willing to help staff. They make sure you have everything you need. Very clean room and bathroom. Location was great. We travel a few times a year and this hotel was one of the best. We’ll return!

The location is perfect and the staff is kind and helpful.

Both elevators were broke so we had to carry all of our bags out to the car on the last day. It was exhausting going up and down five flights. We also had a lot of bugs in our room, which I think was from the people before us opening the door to the balcony. There were also a lot of crumbs in the drawers and in the corners.

I booked two rooms, but one family member couldn’t make the trip due to a last minute medical issue so we canceled one of our room reservations upon check in. The hotel “refunded” the charge for the cancelled room (minus the first night cancellation fee) but apparently didn’t let booking know in writing. Due to contractual reasons, Booking can’t release my refund until Hampton Inn North emails or messages Booking with the refund amount. So we ended up paying for TWO rooms PLUS the cancellation fee of $400+ when we only used ONE room. I will NEVER book third party again. The communication between Hampton Inn North and booking dot com is essentially non existent and we are literally paying for it. I’ve made SEVERAL phone calls to Booking and Hampton Inn North to no avail…I give up! Terrible, terrible customer service from both parties!!!! Also, there was only one working elevator during our stay which was miserable.

Perfect!

Wish the doors to balcony had screens that way can have door open and can hear waves without worrying about bugs when in your room.
