Einfach, aber sehr gute Lage.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Hotel-Anlage. Handtücher fleckig, tägliche Reinigung. Sehr überschauliches Frühstück mit Toast und Cornflakes. Leider werden Marmelade, Margarine und Erdnussbutter in Großverpackungen bereit gestellt. So schmiert jeder mit seinem Plastikmesser oder Löffel in den Lebensmitteln rum. Hier empfiehlt es sich das was man mag selber mitzubringen und somit das Frühstück zu ergänzen. Sehr gute Lage. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen. Strand 5 Minuten. Tip: Seneor Donkey, gleich um die Ecke, mexikanisches Familienrestaurant, oder in 700 Metern Entfernung, die South Padre Brewing Company (Brauereigaststätte).

Don’t stay here!

For starters, it’s basically a motel, not a hotel. The asked for an additional $100 in cash when we checked in (had me use the ATM in their lobby which had a charge fee) for a deposit when I had already fully paid for the room. When we checked out the next day, they had us wait while they went to go check our room to ensure nothing was damaged and that we deserved our $100 back. The king size bed had 3 bricks as pillows and there was also hardly in body soap, shampoo, etc. Also, the door to our room didn’t even fit the frame, so there was a big gap at the top of the door. How safe! Would never stay here again!

I was told to check in before a certain time then when I got there I was told to wait an hour to check in. And all there was for breakfast was toast..

value for the money

The stay was very convenient. The check-in process was also easy (but more on the deposit thing later) Staff were very friendly For all the messages I wrote i got immediate response. Even during the hot day, A/C inside the room was very comfortable. Restaurants and other shops are very close and some of them are walkable Beach is around 10 minutes walk on the east side.

1. There is a CASH deposit of $100 etc at the time of check-in. I do not see this in other major hotels booked via Booking.com or Expedia. Not sure why they cannot follow other hotels process so it is less inconvenient. Of course, they returned the deposit at check-out 2. Another major 'security' concern is, they give parking permit. However they prominently write the room number. I consider that as a security risk. There is no need to put the room number on the permit (which we are required to put on the front of the car) They can have some random serial number instead. This made me very uncomfortable.

No real breakfast as they quote. Room reeked of cigarettes. They also make you put down a $100 cash deposit when you arrive. They say it’s in case of damages but they also scan your card. Incredibly shady. The rooms are so old and in disrepair. The fridge in our room kept leaking and didn’t get very cool. The bed had three pillows with no pillow protector on under the pillow case. Bed was lumpy. Asked for an extra pillow and was told no they could not do that - same when I asked for an extra towel after mopping the water from the leaking fridge up with my bath towel. Gross.

The location was great, right in the middle of everything.

The staff was rude. They acted like they were sick of working and asking for extra towels was a crime. The bed sheets had sand in them and the blankets was so thin just be sure to bring your own blanket.

Not the best but ok for a quick visit.

It was close to the beach room was ok pillows were dirty sheets had cigarette burns had small cockroaches killed 2 of them on the floor the bathroom was clean shower was also clean floors were clean the people staying there were quiet the staff was friendly and nice they have washer and dryer’s they have parking I’ll hav e to give it a 6 overall wasn’t the best hotel but it was good.

Cockroaches pillows were stained the sheets had cigarette burns other than that it was ok close to the beach clean bathroom clean floors struggled little with the door but finally got it had to pay extra for an extra car $25 dollars.

This dump exploits tourists. Stay ANYWHERE else.

This crappy motel is somewhat near a beach at South Padre Island. The location is the ONLY reason anyone would ever stay there.

Lots of hidden fees and a $100 cash deposit. They wanted $25 for a parking pass. After paying an extra fee to have 3 guests in the room instead of 2, they refused to give us 3 room keys. Broken light in exterior hallway. Dirty room. Ironing board - broken. Bedside table - broken. Soap dispenser - broken. The "free breakfast" was only toast and raisin bran cereal.

Never consider this hotel in the future.

Traveler Beware: Customer service from the front desk was terrible, everyone checking had problems with the process. Extra fees once you got to the hotel, Cash only deposit, taxes, fee for extra room key and resort fee. Resort fee?? The place is not a resort to be sure. Continental Breakfast coffee, bread with toaster, jar of jelly and large tub of butter. Wow really?

Comfy beds and reasonably priced rooms!

The beds are always comfortable! The location is awesome and they are also walking distance from senor donkey (restaurant), which is a must when you visit SPI. The hotel price is also very reasonable. Just an FYI they do require a 100 (cash only) damage deposit when checking in, they will return your money once you check out.

They only had less than half a roll of toilet paper once we had checked in, so we had to go ask the front office to give us 2 rolls since we were staying for 4 days but they only gave us 1. So that was an inconvenience asking for toilet paper once we were out.

I paid 275$ to get Dirty sheets , dirty bathrooms, stained mattresses, I booked a room with 2 beds and a hide away sofa bed for 6 and got 2 small beds , also pool was filthy nasty dirty, this was not a family environment , felt unsafe for my family
