Tree top cottage

Love this little cottage in Galley Bay. If peace and tranquility are what you looking for. This is the perfect spot.

Nothing I didn't like. Although some of the kitchen facilities could do with being replaced. ie. Toaster.

Great value for this fully equipped cottage in a very nice neighborhood.

Very spacious cottage in a wooded setting with ocean view! Very quiet setting with wonderful outside sitting. Beautiful beach nearby.

Water pressure in shower was weak.

The main objective to get a few days of undisturbed work in peace and quiet was achieved.

The atmosphere of the area was tranquil with a nice hint of nature with greenery and birds. I liked the peace and tranquility and the fact that Marco showed up personally to see if things were okay.

The place could have been cleaner but it was not dirty. Saw a few small roaches which means fumigation needs to be scheduled. Air con was not the best, fan in the ceiling has seen its days. Needs to be changed. I had to request a television. I would think that would be standard in today's market.

A peace of heaven on earth.

Couldn't wish for a better location, a quaint tranquill spot, fauna and flora abundant for nature lovers. So much to see and do within easy reach to St John's.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Galley Bay Cottages! They were adorable! The staff did everything to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable. Mervin picked us up at the car rental and led us directly to the cottages to avoid any confusion going through St Johns, so we would not get lost. He took us to the grocery store and helped set us up with activities we were interested in. Latisha and Omar were always accessible to answer any questions as well. Upon arrival, were greeted by George and Gracie – a pair of lesser Antillean bullfinches (George came inside to welcome us) – and along with another pair of brightly colored bananaquits; they kept us entertained, while gorging on pieces of watermelon we fed them, while we sat out on the balcony every morning, admiring the beautiful view of the harbor. Antigua lives up to its motto: “the Friendly Island”. They are warm and sunny and beautiful souls. The people of Antigua and the staff of Galley Bay Cottages made our trip to this Island a wonderful experience. Thank You!

very relaxing and tranquil with the closer reach to all island attractions if you rent a car

the proximity to the beach and silence and the feeling of the serenity there. at the same time, it was very safe there. we enjoyed having the breakfast on the terrace and evening drink there. the area is covered with sick tropical vegetation and a lot of birds were singing around. that brought almost fantastic feeling of the tranquility and relaxation.

old kitchen appliances. The refrigerator was clean, but old and leaking. the absence of microwave gave additional stress if you plan to heat up something like pizza or leftovers or cook the instant meal. sometimes it was a water shortage, especially the hot water in the evening. the kitchen cabinets were old and damaged by the termites.

The cutest cottage in Antigua! Absolutely loved our stay completely relaxing set in beautiful rural location surrounded by flora and fawner. Birds including hummingbirds around you every morning. Very short walk to the beach. Will definitely be back

Perfect place to chill

The property was well equipped and had everything we needed for a short stopover in Antigua. Marco was a perfect host and was there to meet us at the airport and take us to the property. A car is required as there are very few shops and restaurants nearby. If you don’t have a car, make sure you stop at the supermarket on the way in. There is a bus stop about 15 minutes walk from the house where you can easily get to St John’s bus station and the rest of the island. The beautiful beach is about 3 minutes walk.

Nothing....everything was great.
