It was so lovely to stay at Olive Tree Cottage for our little getaway from the city again! Everything was as we remembered it was so we got settled in and comfortable straight away. It's quickly becoming our home away from home for real!

The cottage was very good, my kids loved the scooters and we had a fun time taking the tennis rackets over to the community tennis court.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and the gardens were beautiful to sit amongst, with a wine in hand on the deck! The house was very warm and provided a relaxing stay for us. The shopping, wineries, food and environs were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!💖

We enjoyed our stay very warm house everything you need and both main rooms seat up as me and my wife like to spread out plus 2 towels is not enough for a weekend stay but overall ok 7-10 I’d mark it

My husband and I enjoyed staying here. The home was clean, quiet, and spacious. The bikes (with helmets) made it easy to get around and we walked into town though the neighborhoods for dinner. We had a great BBQ dinner and ate at the picnic table on the front porch while listening to all the birds. The kitchen is well equipped. This place would be fantastic for family gatherings. We made use of the laundry machine and the covered outdoor clothes lines and indoor drying rack. Plenty of board games to play with too! We highly recommend staying here.

Everything met our expectations. This is a lovely clean warm cottage an easy 10 min walk from town. The beds are extremely comfortable. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay in Olive Tree Cottage. Only a couple of minutes from town in a nice quiet location. Sitting on the front deck drinking local wine in the sun, surrounded by beautiful gardens.. what more can you wish for?! Will definitely stay here again next time we visit! Thankyou.

When we first looked for a weekend getaway this lovely cottage in Martinborough appealed straight away! Emma’s communications with us were prompt and made the booking process so easy. Soon after arriving, my partner & I rode the bikes into town and explored the lovely quiet neighbourhood. Our stay was so enjoyable. They weather was great, the cottage nice and clean and so comfortable, and Emma & Chris have set it up so well - great selection of books, DVDs, fantastic selection of indoor games, the cool bikes, and even tennis & badminton gear! Furnishings are so nice and the bed we found super comfortable. Spacious bathroom & great shower! Very cool outdoor bath 😊 Our adventures exploring the neighbourhood on foot, on the bikes, and by car were so much fun! So many nice places to eat out in Martinborough, cool little shops, the burger truck tucker was awesome, and there’s even a cinema with cafe / restaurant attached! Returning home to the cottage was lovely knowing it is super quiet with all the comforts of home including the well appointed kitchen. A real bonus was our game of tennis on the fantastic court just a few minutes walk around the corner! Emma even contacted me asking if we’d left some shirts behind in a wardrobe (which I had done). Emma kindly dropped the shirts off to our home in Upper Hutt - such a sweet gesture - thank you again Emma & Chris. We’d love to return again soon to your lovely part of the world! Great cottage stay, cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. Bed was soft, shower hot and powerful. Property is semi-rural, just out of town so you're in the country with Martinborough less than 2km away. Recommend highly.

The house was clean, warm, comfortable. A very well stocked kitchen with nice kitchen ware etc. Beds are comfortable. There's a good selection of dvds, games etc. A lovely walk to town or quick trip in car. Very quiet, peaceful area. Thanks

Wonderful cottage with everything we could have needed. Super comfy beds, and heating that kept us toasty on a winters eve. Lovely walk through Pinot Grove to the Square. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect wee house for any combination of people from families with small children to couples of any age, and, in our case, a group of three friends who love book stores, sewing/craft stores, gardens, walking, cosy evenings knitting and chatting with a glass of wine and a platter. Three competent cooks found all the equipment they could want in the well stocked kitchen. The outdoor bath was wonderful and the sunny verandah at the front was a perfect sunny spot in the middle of winter. Easy communication with Emma and a spotlessly clean house. The only comment that we could dredge up was so minor but...a larger electric towel rail would be great. That's the best we could do!!! Would love to stay again and would recommend it heartily. This cottage was very clean and cosy - the beds were extremely comfortable and it was great to have bicycles to ride into town. Would have been good to have a few basic ingredients like cooking oil etc on hand but apart from that we had a wonderful stay.
