The location the boats stopped at was great and I enjoyed the sun deck and jacuzzi. Jenny our host was incredible she went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable. We also enjoyed the tour by Michael
Our shower did not work for a short while however this was fixed fairly quickly. We felt the room was a bit smaller then expected and being located at the back of the ship our balcony did get some engine fumes.

Wonderful staff - Jenny was a lovely person and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. Room was good considering we were on a boat - ours even included a bath! The trip to the local village was a real highlight, cycling through the trees to meet the local people. Organising of the trips was smooth.
Well, two different friends joked about catching a stomach bug on a cruise ship (everyone seems to) but we laughed it off. Unfortunately all of our group caught a horrid sickness and diarrhoea bug on the boat and has wiped out 3 days of our holiday. Understandably it really tarnished our entire experience. Maybe needs a deep clean? We also found the cruise to be more Disneyland than peaceful cruise around a natural heritage site. Boats EVERYWHERE with many blasting karaoke until midnight. It’s also impossible to avoid the tons of floating faeces, sanitary towels, cans, plastic bags, clothes and oil that surrounds the boat. Also at nearly £1,000 (no booze) per couple, for essentially one full day of cruising, we thought value was poor.

The bed was confortable and the room was just next to Jacuzzi that my kids love it
The Taichi class was planned for 1 hour but it took actually only 15 minutes and it was mainly strenching.
The cooking class was only demonstrating how to make summer roll and taste it, took maybe 5-10 mins.

the cruise was very good , staff looked after you very well , the meals were very good and catered to all , including us who could not eat seafood , drinks were a plenty and very well priced .

my only negative comment would be on the last day , staff asking to do a review on booking.com before i leave the boat during lunch before we were about depart , asking me to log into booking.com and do the review in front of them , which i did not have the app on my mobile , they wanted me to download the app , which i think is misleading , i understand now why you have so many 10 's in your reviews
after dinner there was not much to do , siting on the deck was nice , but the music played was 80's on loop of 4 songs
tv's in the room ? they dont work or have channels so not sure what they were there for , wifi was ok
day trip - Cat ba - my personal view was , it was a waste of a day , you spend 90 mins to get there , push bike ride around the island , and see an island , that really has no charm or beauty , the village is quant , but im not sure why we went there , no culture tour or things to see - all the boats do it , so this is not a reflection on Doris Cruise .
on the way back we stop at a beach so you can swim for 1 hour - you will see the bay - its full of rubbish and pollution , nobody went for. swim then was another 90 mins to get back .
so for me 8am till 430pm on day 2 was a waste of a day , you could not stay on the boat , as there is nothing to do

The property was amazing! The rooms where very spacious and the view was stunning! The amenities and restaurant were very good quality and there was loads of options. Tony was so helpful and attentive during my stay!

We were lucky to get upgraded to the honeymoon suite. The room was fantastic and romantic. The staff were all nice and kind. We would like to thank Mia for her smiling face and warm hospitality in our unforgettable journey.

Brian our butler was a wonderful host. Nothing was a problem for him and he was always very professional, cheerful and great company who enjoyed a chat.

Comfortable room, firm bed, good shower and bathroom facilities. The WiFi works pretty well. Attentive and professional staff, top quality, delicious and fresh food. Extremely clean throughout. I thoroughly recommend Doris Cruise. Would recommend staying for 2 nights as 1 night seemed to go too quickly.
My only criticism is that the staff were maybe a bit too attentive which came across as suffocating at times. I was recovering from a cold/flu and I thought the cruise would be a nice place to relax and recover. The staff saw that we went to bed early (around 9pm) and expressed concern that we didn’t mingle with the other guests or join in squid fishing and they were worried this meant we weren’t enjoying the experience. This was mentioned to us again several times by different members of staff. I felt pressured to smile all the time for fear of coming across as unhappy.

This cruise was a once in a lifetime experience! We are so glad we opted for two nights. The room was luxurious, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. Everything was perfectly coordinated, and we loved all the activity options. The staff were friendly but not pushy and there was always an option to stay on board and relax if you wanted to skip something. We especially appreciated Jenny, who was assigned to our cabin. She went out of her way to take care of us and felt like a family member by the end of the cruise.

An absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. Jennie and Mike in particular were amazing, so welcoming and helpful - a credit to the company. The food was brilliant and the room very comfortable. Really enjoyed the activities and day trip. We'll remember this for a long time.

Wonderful experience with Doris cruise and particular mention must be made of Jennie and Michael who made this trip extra special. Nothing was too much trouble and my gluten free requirements were catered for brilliantly.

Views from room were amazing. Decent variety of food and activities were well organised. Staff were particularly lovely and always willing to help, thank you Jaytee for looking after us :)
We got a massage on the cruise, and wish the room was warmer given how cold it was this time of the year. It would be nice if tissues and were included in each room as well.
Wifi is poor (we had better luck with data) but we were informed of this at the start.

We had a wonderful stay made exceptional by the staff on board. Particularly Jennie who took care of us with kindness and professionalism. She made sure we were always comfortable and enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend the Doris Cruise. It was a great getaway from the city. The rooms are clean, the food is good with lots of variety and the activities are well planned.

Es war ein traumhafter und unvergesslicher Aufenthalt auf der Doris Cruise. Wir wurden in Hanoi von dem Taxi der Doris Cruise abgeholt. Es war ein 5 Sterne VIP Van. Anschließend hatten wir einen kurzen Aufenthalt im Perlen-Museum. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Auf dem Schiff angekommen wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt und durften direkt zum Essen. Unser Gepäck wurde bereits aufs Zimmer gebracht.
Das Essen war besser als 5 Sterne und wir fanden es einfach köstlich. Jennie hat sich die ganze Zeit um uns gekümmert und war für uns zuständig. Ob die Weinauswahl oder die Decke an Deck, sie hat sich mehr als hervorragend um uns gekümmert.
Wir können jedem diese unvergessliche Zeit auf der Doris Cruise nur empfehlen. Unvergleichbar und unvergesslich. Die Kabine war ein Traum. Große Fenster und eine Badewanne.
Wir bedanken uns bei der Doris Cruise für die tolle Zeit.
Bitte unbedingt 2 Nächste buchen. Der Tagesausflug ist toll und darf nicht fehlen.

Die Zimmer sind groß und das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Boot fährt weiter raus und die Lage dort ist sehr schön und ruhig. Auch der Transfer hat pünktlich geklappt, alles in allem dauert es aber natürlich etwas.
Wir waren froh über 2 Übernachtungen, wenn man es etwas entspannter angehen will. Die Tage und das Programm ist gut durch getaktet. Das Essen war lecker, könnte aber etwas abwechslungsreicher sein.

Gekozen op basis van beoordelingen, foto’s en faciliteiten voor kleine kinderen (1 en 4 jaar). Het schip was inderdaad modern en schoon, het zwembad / jacuzzi was erg fijn voor de kids. Personeel was vriendelijk en gastvrij, al is het soms wat overdreven. Waren wel erg blij met onze host ANNIE, super lief en behulpzaam! De activiteiten waren eeg leuk. Zou iedereen aanraden om voor 3d/2n te gaan, Halong bay is fantastisch!
Drank op de boot is erg duur!
