Breakfast is good . Location is good too.

Onsen hotel near Jr Takayama

Onsen has 3 private onsen but the public onsen is the most outstanding The staff help me when my daughter forgot her eyeliner pencil and send to my Kyoto hotel in 2 days after send e mail several time. Thank you for Anjila and Hinako for work on that.

Nettes modernes Ryokan mit tollem Onsen und Bergblick

Tolles Onsen. Gemütliches Zimmer. Super Blick auf die japanischen Alpen. Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr groß.

Unser Zimmer im 12. Stock war extrem warm, obwohl wir alle Heizungen ausgemacht hatten und das Fenster offen hatten. Wahrscheinlich weil wir direkt unter dem Onsen waren. Das Frühstück war nicht so gut gewürzt. Der Kaffee im Empfangsbereich war leider furchtbar.

Abbiamo trovato molto interessante la possibilità di utilizzare privatamente un'onsen, unica pecca è stato il rispetto dell'orario limite da parte degli altri clienti dell'hotel che creava lunghe file, suggerirei alla struttura di installare un timer per ricordare ai clienti lenti che il tempo è scaduto

Excelente

As onsen, tanto as publicas quanto as privadas, sao otimas! Poderiam melhorar o sistema das onsen privadas, em certos horarios ficam muitos hospedes parados perto delas, aguardando sua vez, sem nenhum controle ou ordem. O quarto era muito bom, muito espaçoso e confortável. Localização excelente, 5 min da estação, 15 min de Takayama Old Town e 25 min de Hida no Sato. Ramem a noite é maravilhoso!

A unica resalva é que desde o primeiro dia apareceu um odor bem desagradavel no banheiro, pior pela manha (antes de eu usar o banheiro).

El Onsen tiene 10 está de lujo, las habitaciones

Que está en una subida y es difícil bajar o salir por algo al pueblo por ejemplo, pero llegamos en taxi 5 min de la estación y después por la mañana hay camión del hotel para llevarte a la estación

Great for more of a traditional stay

The traditional style roo were great and gave to the experience. The private baths were also lovely giving an option to couples as well as people with tattoos.

This "ryokan" has an amazing onsen. Rooms are big, well arranged and tidy. Night was quiet and the bed is comfortable.

I will visit again

Location was great, close to the train station and great local restaurants. The view from my room was fantastic

I was really excited to use the private onsen but when I used it there was hair floating in the water that put me off. I believe that the onsen should be cleaned in-between uses

It’s not the typical ryokan. The doors for our room for example was magnetic card , not the typical ones. I was expecting something like that

A clean central situated Japanese styled hotel

We enjoyed our stay the Takayama Ouan. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the major sites in the and around the city and close to the bus and train station. The atmosphere is quite authentic Japanese with shoe storage in the lobby and such, and carefully attention to every design detail, which was very enjoyable.

The rooms are a bit small, and there are not any place were you can sit together with your friends or kids if you travel in a group bigger than two.

Great roof top onsen. My daughter loved the free ice cream just outside the onsen. Good buffet breakfast. Enjoyed not having to wear shoes inside the hotel.

excellent location. vey clean. room is spacious. onsen facility is amazing with nice views, indoor, outdoor onsens and sauna. breakfast and dinner are very nice. free coffee all day and ramen at night time.

when it is late night and quiet, the air conditioner was very noise and affected our sleep. the stay would have been perfect otherwise.

I liked having the couch in the room for hanging out. Loved the rooftop onsen!

I didn't realize the onsen would actually be a fancy hot tub (chlorinated). Was expecting hot spring water.

comfortable stay by the station

Nice to have a mix of open air and indoor baths. They serve both dinner and breakfast. Front desk stayed open past last available check in time. Bed was very comfortable. Location is right by the train station, but far enough so there’s no noise from the trains.

There was a furniture stain in my room, and it wasn’t clear how long I could store luggage. note that the view from the open air bath is just ok as it’s mainly parking lots and other more bland buildings.

Onsen on rooftop was Amazing!

The location is so close to the train station. just a 10 min walk to the old town area. The public and private Onsen on the rooftop were the highlight of our stay! simply amazing!!
