The ibis Osaka Umeda has a great location as it's located basically right next to Osaka Station. It did not seems obvious to first time tourists, but underground there's a whole maze of tunnels with restaurants, shops, etc. all over that area. ibis Osaka Umeda is connected to it, so when I was trying to get there it does not show that you have to walk in the underground area, not street level.
Also, the service of luggage forwarding and the breakfast is good, with Japanese and international-style food.
Finally, in Osaka station you will find all the shops for Nintendo, Pokémon, Capcom, etc.
Overall a good hotel, no complaints only that they would mention somewhere how to get there at either street level or underground, as it is not something a tourist would know.

Very close to tube stations you can go downstairs and access tube from there.

Property was very close to everything , centrally located

Close to train lines so easy to get around. Connected to the Whity mall which had some good places to easily get dinner
The room was small and lacked storage. Simple things like hooks on the wall for towels in the bathroom were not there.
