The location is perfect - i had a room overlooking the Alps and the lake. It was magical. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is jus 5 min wilk from the Railway Station and the train takes you to Lausanne in no time.
It is not that i didn’t like but some may wish to know that there is no air condition - i had a fan though and it worked well. The price is a bit high but it is Switzerland I suppose…. Anyway, the location makes it worth it

The location is great.
If paying the local tax on check-in, make sure you get a receipt. I was asked for it again the following morning. The girl on check-in handed my room key to another group checking in. Luckily they noticed and handed it back. After that, I kept my key and did not hand it in when going out.
Restaurant staff were clearing up/setting up for breakfast until after 1am. Cleaners started before 7am, including hoovering and clearing the restaurant toilets.
Avoid room 11. It is next to the lift and opposite the restaurant toilets.
