We had a large room which was more than I expected but fabulous for our 6 nights. The bed was a true king size and the air con made the room comfortable after being out in the heat all day. The staff were friendly and responsive to our requests. Opposite the port with many restaurant options and was where the ferry left for the day trip to Portofino. Hotel is a quick walk to the main piazzas and shopping. The room was very soundproof as we were at the back and didn’t hear the noise from outside that we could hear when we went into the bathroom.
The shower base was a bit slippery. We didn’t know to order breakfast from the menu on our first day as it’s all included. Coffee pods are 0.80cents each, we didn’t know.

I loved our room, the breakfast was amazing and the hotel itself was beautiful, felt like living in a castle! I loved it!
The only downside was that the air conditioning only went down to 21 Celsius, in my opinion it was to hot and made it a little difficult to sleep.

Walking distance to the marina and aquarium.
It’s more suited to Italians on business trips than Brits on holiday.
