Not recommended for seniors.

Breakfast was good, location was good.

Not allowed to check in early, had to walk around several hours. Facility was not up to ADA standards for seniors. No shower mat no grab bars. No compendium to explain how to us appliances. Finally found on line instructions by accident for garbage removal, it took several attempts to arrange mid week cleaning on line. Finally had to call direct

No hot water, no Wi-Fi for first day, doesn't design for 5 quests

Positives about the apartment: Excellent location spacious apartment Negative 1. It was difficult to find the apartment because there was no sign outside of it with the name of apartment 2. Check-in was at 3 pm. We arrivde at 2pm and they even didn't let us wait in the first floor hallway. They wanted us to leave our luggage at their office that was 15 minutes away from the apartment or wait outside. The road outside it is probably 4 meters wide with traffic; it is just dangerous. When they saw us sitting in the hall at 14:50 they asked us to immediately leave the building, but the apartment was available at just at 3:10 pm, so checking was 10 minutes late. 3. We received an email prior to check in that there isn't hot water in one of the sinks. When we came in, we find out that there was no hot water at all nor wifi. Neither sink had hot water during our stay and nobody came to fix it. I contacted management and they asked me to reset the heater. We started to have hot water the next day, but because of the small heater, just two of us were able to have warm water during our 5 minute showers. The rest of us had to use cold water to shower. Regarding the WiFi, they gave us thewrong login information and we didn't have wifi for 24 hours. The next day somebody stopped by and gave us the correct login information. 4. We rented an apartment for 5 people. The recliner sofa didn't have a normal mattress, just a thin foam padding (about one inch) and my daughter had to sleep with us on a double bed. Also, they provide just 4 dining chairs for 5 people. The oven was out of order too. 5. Both bedrooms had a very low ceiling for both sides of the bed and we bumped our heads many times when we got up from the bed. 6. They provide 8 or 10 towels for 5 days for 5 people and if you need a fresh one they charge extra money. They waived these charges for us because of the hot water problem 7. I paid 76 extra euros to stay till 4 pm instead of checking out at 11.

Gorgeous apartment in a great area of the city.

Great Location to city sites, restaurants, and groceries. The apartment was impeccably clean, very large accommodations, well stocked kitchen, comfortable king size bed and roomy bedroom. The apartment was decorated with high end renovations but still had an old world feel. Gorgeous hand painted relief paintings on the walls in the apartment . Just beautiful! Very safe.

superb location with very close access to metro and restaurants. large spacious apartment with many windows for fresh air

had trouble receiving the check-in instructions and the sofa bed was broken. shower head not attached properly. signage was lacking at the property to identify apartment and parking space.

Great!

The location was perfect. I was very close to a metro station and large boulevards but it wasn't too noisy. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance and a Mini Preço not too far away.

I wish the shower was a bit better. The shower head kept falling every time the water started or stopped. And also anytime I changed the water temperature it fell. So just be mindful of that when showering.

I just filled out the form you send me. Unfortunately I have a lot to complain about: The online-check-in was very complicated, even more to get a working key that in the beginning didn't open or close the door. We had to call a lot of times and got the impression nobody believed us. At least somebody very kind came to help us. He confirmed that it did not work and had to make a reset of the system. Then it worked the rest of the time. The whole process took a lot of time and was a great trouble. The bed-sofa in the living-room was a very old model and not very easy to open. Two times we didn't get hot water. The first time one of the staff (one of the women that only spoke english) teached us to make a reset of the gas-system so that in the second time we could do it without help. By the way I think it is unbearable to have staff in an hotel in Portugal that doesn't speak portuguese. The apartment itself was nice and comfortable. But there was too much trouble. I think there must be always someone to help at once if it is necessary. And above all the guests have to be informed before the booking and not after paying that the check-in is necessarily to do online. In this case I didn't had chosen the hotel and surely will do it never more !!! Best regards Sabine Hammer

overall, it’s a good apartment for family and safe neighborhood

spacious, clean

a bit noisy special at night from the staircase and out on the street. The check in is not flexible and office is too far from the property.

Too many things going wrong

The location is great however it’s not so easy to park the car.

The keys codes sent didn’t work; The wi-do codes on the email were wrong; There were bugs in the bathroom and kitchen (including kitchen cupboards) and the management refused to do the immediate cleaning of the flat); Difficult to contact the management of the property (didn’t answer the phone for a few times); It was truly disappointing to have such a rubbish service provided as the flat is nice and with good location. Additionally we were told that we would have a discount for all the trouble and inconvenience those events caused during our holidays but no discount was given at all.

Never again

The apartment is big and well equipped

One of the worst holiday experiences in my life. The online check in process is complicated and you have absolutely no information which apartment is yours (and what floor, the building has a few floors). You end up looking for it in the building and typing a code everywhere. Actually the apartments are located next door and the address provided is not correct. There were a few things broken in our apartment and we asked the owner to fix it, eventually they did nothing. The worst part is that our electronic door lock got stuck and we could not lock the apartment door at all. We contacted the owner, they promised to help us and left us neglected. Also be aware that you need internet access to check in and open the door online. They also urged us three times to pay extra money outside of booking.com for taxes and there was no information about it when we had booked the apartment. I would not recommend anyone to book this place, it is not worth the stress we had.
