I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were delightful, the room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed in it. The location was excellent close to the East Side Gallery and public transport. The buffet style breakfast was delicious with plenty of vegan options. I cannot rate this place high enough. When I visit Berlin in the future I will definitely be checking in here.

Everything is very modern, good location, good price, breakfast was great (the times i made it before the closure time at least. Getting up before 10 or 11 is not that easy when you get back from parties at 5am). Reception was always very friendly and professional. McDonalds is a 5 minute walk away, always open far into the night, easy to grab a quick coffee or a lunch.
- Air conditioning gave some error code when you turn it on, not sure if it was actually doing something. It did blow air but don't know if it was actually cooled. I just opened the window but if it's 30 degrees summer later in the year, any AC should be working.
- There is a bit much furniture in the room, there is barely space to open 1 large airplane suitcase. I was there with two of these for some events. Had to stack up a few pieces of furniture to make space.
- On the bed i discovered a really gross small stain, I couldn't determine if i did something by accident with a M&M candy i was eating before, or if it was already there, but it was very dried up. I hope it was not from an exploded pimple or something from previous visitor.
- Upon arrival there were some bits of mess on the carpet and a long hair in the shower pan. It's not that bad but not really what you expect.
- Also the DND hanger is a bit annoying as it falls off the door knob half of the times you open the door, so then you have to bend over, pick it up, and put it back on the doorknob again. Even if you really carefully open the door. Would be a good improvement to use such sliding "DND/Please clean" -sign on the wall like you see at some other hotels. Or such digital sign with buttons inside the room to control it... Those are totally tamper&hassle-free.
- The roomkey scanner in the elevator is really user-unfriendly, I met multiple people who didn't get it to work. I just scanned the key multiple times and pushed the button multiple times alternating and then it worked. But these last few things are really minor to me, it doesn't matter that much. Good price / quality.
- The waffle iron in the breakfast is making a loud intermittent beeping noise which is really annoying. Probably some cooking timer or that it reached temperature... They should put a light indicator on that function instead of that beeping.

I like how central the location of the hotel is. It is near train stations, shops and restaurants. Our room had a good view of the wall with all the beautiful graffiti.I love that buffet breakfast is included too.
The tea and coffee making facilities in the room need improvement by offering more tea, coffee and other hot drinks like hot chocolate. it would also help if bottled water is available in the room for the electric kettle as it’s not pleasant to use the water from the shower room tap.
