Sehr aufmerksames, engagiertes Personal. Team an der Rezeption zeigte mir auf Nachfrage ein Zimmer höherer Kategorie. Sehr gute Bewirtung in den Restaurants und der Bar. 11 von 10 Punkte für Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und exklusiv ausgestattet. Uns haben die interessanten Bildbände überrascht. Die Gestaltung des Badezimmers ist originell. Die Schallisolation ist perfekt. Wir konnten bereits vor der regulären Check-in-Zeit in das Zimmer. Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau gab es eine nette Aufmerksamkeit. Der Swimming Pool mit Whirlpool in der achten Etage ist außergewöhnlich. Man hat eine fantastische Sicht auf den Tiergarten. Positiv war auch, dass der Spa-Bereich bereits um 7:00 Uhr öffnet. Das Servicepersonal beim Frühstück und der Rezeption ist außerordentlich freundlich. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Im Vergleich zum übrigen Hotel wirkte das Personal im Spa-Bereich etwas überheblich und unfreundlich. Die streng abgezählte Abgabe von Saunahandtüchern war unnötig gängelnd. Unser Wunsch nach einem trockenen Paar Badeschlappen wurde anscheinend nicht an den Zimmerservice weitergeleitet.

The hotel is conveniently located to all Berlin's historical buildings.
The so called "city view" advertised on some rooms at an extra price was not so exciting....at the end it was just the Berlin's Philarmonie.

Hervorragender Standard (insbesondere auch beim Frühstück), diesmal ist uns zusätzlich positiv die komfortable Anzahl motivierter internationaler Auszubildender im Service - Bereich und an der Rezeption aufgefallen. Ein engagiertes immer freundliches Team, gut organisiert, deshalb immer vorausschauend, egal ob im Frühstücksbereich, Rezeption, Restaurant, Bar. Sehr umsichtiger Zimmerservice, alles immer perfekt sauber, kein Detail vergessen. Außerdem ist der Wellnessbereich einer der angenehmsten in allen Berliner Hotels, das Schwimmbad groß, dem Himmel über Berlin nah, alles sehr entspannt und ruhig - perfekt auch noch bei 5 Tagen Aufenthalt.
nicht wirklich negativ, aber als Tipp: Die Lobby (und vielleicht auch manche Flure) könnten etwas heller beleuchtet sein. Die angedeuteten Sitzbereiche in den Fluren könnten ruhig etwas mehr tatsächlich zum kurzen Aufenthalt - z.B. beim Warten auf Mitreisende oder Zeitunglesen oder ähnlichem, gestaltet werden.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Wellness und Fitnessraum waren tatsächlich zu den angegebenen Öffnungszeiten geöffnet.
Das Restaurant VOX verfügte über eine gute Weinkarte zu realistischen Preisen.
Suite war spät zum Bezug bereit. Möblierung der Grandsuite sieht wenig Stauraum für Kleidung vor. Restaurantküche im VOX bezüglich Vorweihnachtszeit wenig flexibel - keine weihnachtlichen Menüs.

The bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room was really nice. It was very hot outside but the room stayed cool. Having both a bathtub and a shower was great. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and tried hard to get me into a room when I showed up a bit too early for check in. I even got a massage there and the spa facilities were very clean and nice. Really, all the staff was so nice.
I noticed there were many large groups of people staying there, so the lobby was constantly streaming with people and it was a bit loud. The breakfast was very average for such a nice hotel. My friend ordered a la carte and it was extremely basic for the price.

Upon our arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting Antonio and another staff member at the reception. Antonio, in particular, was exceptionally kind and helpful. However, a problem arose when we were informed about a deposit requirement, that had not been communicated to us before or after booking. We reluctantly agreed to pay for the entire stay at that moment, since we didn't have the required deposit.
During our stay, we encountered unexpected expenses, such as daily parking fees of 20-25€, and the swimming pool water was uncomfortably cold. We also received mysterious envelopes under the door and messages in the TV about unknown bills, adding to our frustration.
The most frustrating incident occurred during our check-out process when we encountered Alina Göbel, who identified herself as the manager. She informed us that we couldn't check out until we paid for the entire stay. We showed her proof of payment by displaying our bank account records, which clearly showed that the deposit had been withdrawn. We even suggested she could contact Antonio, who had witnessed the payment during our check-in, but she refused. Instead, Alina Göbel engaged in a heated argument, insisting that we had not paid and that she couldn't find any record of the transaction in her system.
After a lengthy and unpleasant dispute, Ms. Göbel allowed us to leave the hotel without paying anything further. We also tried to settle the parking fees (60€) but she didnt want to process our payment. Her unprofessionalism and rudeness left us feeling upset and frustrated.
Oddly enough, shortly after leaving the hotel, we received an email stating, "As discussed upon your departure today, we have now used the authorized amount on your credit card and proceeded with the payment today." This email contradicted Ms. Göbel's earlier claims of non-payment, and it raised further questions about the hotel's communication and management.

Probably due to the good value for money and central location the breakfast area was pretty crowded each morning.
Sometimes people were cueing in order to be seated. Slight impression that sometimes the personnel was not able to cover all the requests in due time.

The hotel was centrally located to major sites, and about a 5-7 minute walk to the station and subways. It’s not a huge going out area but there were enough restaurants and cafes in the area to make it comfortable. Everything was clean. Check in and check out was very simple. I looked at the gym and pool but didn’t get a chance to use it. For a work trip it was great, but if I were going for a fun leisure trip I’m not sure I’d stay in that area.
To buy breakfast buffet was a whopping 42 euro. I didn’t use the sauna but the fact that you need to be nude can be a turn off for people. When I checked out around 7 am, there was a line for people to get into breakfast. A huge one. This hotel seems to be a spot for cruise lines to have their groups stay. It didn’t impact my stay at all but I can’t imagine that it may be a problem for some, depending when you arrive/leave/ and want your breakfast.
