Located in Parksville, this lovely cottage for $145 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Parksville Business License 53483 STILL SOME SPACE AVAILABLE IN APRIL DUE TO CANCELLATION Well mannered small dog on approval, with signed agreement--must be on flea and tick prevention. Your welcome wine awaits you (or organic sparkling juice) at award winning Oceanside Village Resort, located near Rathtrevor Beach in beautiful Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island. Parksville is where I choose to live myself now and where I always brought my children to holiday when they were young. The pace is leisurely and scenery is stunning. The Resort is close to airports, ferry terminals, shopping, skiing, golfing, fishing, hiking, glorious beaches and beautiful rivers. The cottage itself is just steps from the resort swimming pool and small fitness centre, as well as other resort amenities and a lovely little lunch bistro. A short walk or drive will bring you to Rathtrevor Beach and Park – a beautiful and favorite spot for all ages. A mini golf facility borders the property – also fun for all! At Parksville Community Beach there is an amazing playground and splash park for children. Steps away from the cottage is the famous Tigh-na-mara spa. Other interesting places and events in the area include Englishman River Falls, Coombs Market with Goats on the Roof, Errington Farmers' Market, Craig Street Tuesday Night Market, Qualicum Beach Saturday Market, Top Bridge Walking Trail, MacMillan Steam Train and Mill, Horne Lake caves, Cathedral Grove. Northwest Wildlife Centre, Milner Gardens. A cross island jaunt will bring you to the open side of the ocean at Tofino with its storm watching and surfing . There are too many fun things to list! My contemporary cottage is a spacious and well laid out 2 bedroom with one full bath (separate soaker tub and shower). All appliances are full size and include dishwasher and new washer/dryer for your convenience during your stay. The cottage is nicely decorated and very comfortably furnished including custom livingroom furniture and high end mattresses. . A natural gas fireplace is a plus for cool evenings. All kitchenware and linens are supplied. The cottage is outfitted with so many lovely things and the full kitchen is set up for people who love to cook. Outside amenities include a natural gas barbecue and outside hose to get the sand off before you relax on the sunny deck. Minimum stay is 2 nights with weekly rates available. Off season rates are in effect from mid September . Rental agreement is required. Many guests consider this their island home and return every year to enjoy our mild climate. I hope you will love Parksville and Shore Winds as much as I do!

The owner, Kate takes great pride in her cottage and providing a comfortable stay for guests. From the welcome bottle of wine and chocolate to treats for our dog. Kate went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The cottage is as described, fully equipped with attention to every detail.

Wonderful! The cottage was stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Kitchen was better stocked than my home kitchen. Kate has decorated the place very nicely; it all "fits" and makes the cottage feel like a home. Best stocked short term rental property I have stayed in. Kate was easy to deal with. I felt like I had a personal connection to Kate. I look forward to return visits and will definitely choose Kate's property. Thank you Kate for sharing your home with us.

I wish I could give 10 stars to this property! This is the best appointed vacation property we have ever stayed in - from kitchen ware, kid games to picnic supplies! Everything is immaculate and spotless. Thank you for a lovely stay, Kate! We were so grateful for the air conditioning and loved our beach holiday in Parksville!

We had the absolute best stay at this cabin, it was so clean and gorgeous. The owner had everything arranged for us, and has anything you could need for you stay available. She even left us a bottle of chilled wine! (And chilled juice boxes for the kids) We look forward to staying here next year

My friend and I rented the property to have some time to reconnect and enjoy the sights. It was wonderful on all levels. Kate was a perfect host and the property was exactly as described. Very accessible to Rathtrevor Beach and into Parksville to see the sand castle competition. We had such a great time and hopefully there will be another stay soon. We had the luck and opportunity to stay at Kate's cottage for an entire month and it was wonderful. I can highly recommend for short and also longer-term stays! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we weren't missing anything as we ate most meals at "home." We stayed as a family with two kids (6 and 8) and the games, books, and beach/pool toys were wonderful! It was also great to have the pool just steps away. We also often walked to the beach and through gorgeous Rathtrevor Provincial Park trails as well as the Black Goose Pub. Everything was comfortable and clean and the owner, Kate, is extremely kind and attentive! We had an unexpected emergency during our stay and she was an incredible angel helping us out! I hope we can come back up again - and can't recommend more!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. It was comfortable, very clean, had a well-stocked kitchen which made cooking in easier, and it's in a good location. Our host was great and always responded to messages very quickly, and she was really helpful. And our dog was comfortable there, and we were very glad that she could be there with us. Thank you!!

We loved our stay. Cottage was lovely, beds are comfortable, very clean, has everything you need. The indoor pool is just a 1 minute walk, loved that bathrobes were provided as well as pool toys. Tranquil Moments Spa has a great RMT Archie, provides great pain relieving massages. Kate is a great host, the cabin has all and more than you need.

This was a perfect spot to stay. The cottage was lovely, check in and the host were fantastic, everything was as described and more. The location offers lots to do from beach walks to glass galleries there is something for all. Our family stayed at Kate's cottage for an extended weekend. We very much enjoyed our stay: it was just big enough for the 4 of us, had a very well equipped kitchen, BBQ and ample toys for the kids. Kate took very good care of us with some unexpected check-in gifts that were very thoughful and much appreciated. We would not hesitate to say again.

We were in town to celebrate a family members birthday. The location of this cottage was perfect for our family of four - especially with all of our activities being so close (indoor pool, mini putt, beach). Kate is the best host, and keeps her property stocked with all of the amenities you will need....and it is immaculately clean. We are hoping to return next year :)

Kate's cottage is beautiful and spotless inside and out! It has everything you need to cook, play, relax and easily get around Parksville and Rathtrevor Beach by foot, bike or car. The beds and linens were super comfy. The deck was perfect with both sun & shady sitting & eating areas to relax privately outside. The kitchen had everything & more! It was great to be able to open all the windows to enjoy the fresh ocrean breezes. And the pool & hot tub were right across the way and felt so good after a busy day exploring. Kate was very quick and easy to communicate with and very nice in person too. Will definitely return, next time we're in the area. Thanks Kate!

The cottage was beautiful and the location was great. The cottage was a 2 minute drive from the beach. I also had a nice little indoor pool across the street which was a great way for the kids to close out the day. The cottage was well stocked and had beach toys for the kids which was appreciated. Kate was quick to respond to emails and pleasant. It was a fantastic stay in Parksville.
