Cabins provide privacy yet are close to town

We stayed in a cabin which provided privacy and flexibility. The cabin had a main bedroom, small eat-in kitchen and shower bathroom. The managers were helpful before arrival and at arrival. Key was left for us in the cabin so we could arrive on our schedule. There was a reserved parking place directly next to our cabin. The cabins are about an 11 minute car ride from the village of Bar Harbor which was convenient.

The window air conditioner was dated so was rather noisy and cooling was spotty. The kitchen did not have a sink and there were no dishes or utensils so we had to eat our dinner on paper napkins. The ice machine was inconveniently located across a busy street from the cabins at the motel site.

Recently updated rooms are very nice.

The location is a few miles from Bar Harbor with parking so you do not have to fight the traffic in Bar Harbor. It is only about 1/2 mile from the entrance to Acadia National Park. The room was a good size and had a large bar/table along side one wall where the microwave and refrigerator sat, and was very handy for setting out various items. The rooms have been nicely updated and included a power strip and USB plugs for charging our electronics.

There was no chair in the room so the only place to sit is on the beds. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but not too bad.

For a few days, it was fine. Loved Acadia National Park.

Location was close to Bar Harbor and the price was much less than in-town hotels. These are individual cabins which is quieter.

Bed mattress and pillows are old and a bit tired, but still comfortable. There is road noise from the street. The HVAC is older and had a tendency to cycle on / off rather abruptly.

Great location, Friendly staff, Clean & Safe!

Staff were very accommodating and communicative before our stay and allowing us to check in early. The hotel is in a good location, close to the main town of Bar Harbor. Rooms were clean and the area was safe. The grounds had a big lawn, picnic tables and cornhole.

The chain for the door was broken, as women travelers we appreciate every extra security measure possible. The bathrooms are narrow - I don't know how many people would maneuver in there!

Convenient, clean, and comfortable stay

We love it’s location to Acadia National park and Bar Harbor, the bathroom was huge, it was clean, and comfortable.

It had a moldy/musty smell when we arrived and it was a bit tight with all of our luggage inside

Very hospitable greeting, clean premises, lots of amenities, very quiet even considering being close to the main road to Bar Harbor. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

It is a very nice motel, which is very clean, well kept, the room and bathroom is very functional, simple but very well designed from hooks for towels to a comfortable bed. We stayed only 2 nights but the room was cleaned, fresh towels provided after our first night.The location is great, 3.5 miles from the center. We sure plan to stay here on our next visit to Bar Harbor. Thank you! Kathy and Matt Soni

expensive motel stay

the place was clean, location is good, 5-10 min drive to the restaurants.

the space is organized very uncomfortable, no place for bath personal things, towels were so small and thick. I paid $235 for night is the motel, but next time I would pay a little more and stay in one of the lodges in the Bar Harbot downtown with a ocean view. in my opinion is not worth the money.

Overpriced for what it is but OK if you can get past the price

Staff was very nice and very accommodating regarding our arrival time. Free parking right in front of the room was super convenient. Was fairly clean and quiet.

The $250 rate seems pretty steep for this outdated motel room 10 miles from the main Bar Harbor tourist area. The bathroom is very small and would not be suitable for a large person. The bathroom lacked anywhere to put your items while washing up/brushing teeth and/or clothes while showering. The one small shelf in the bathroom was falling off the wall and was unusable. There was also a small but manageable fruit fly infestation in the bathroom. There are no mirrors in the main room so that leaves just the one above the sink for everyone to share - kind of a tricky set up for 3 adults. If you are wanting to walk around the main Bar Harbor tourist area, you are going to have to drive in and fight for a parking space, but if you're driving into Acadia, this would be a fine location. So as long as you understand what you are paying for in this inflated tourist market, it's not terrible, but I think they could make some improvements for the price.

Comfort Clean and Great Location!!!

The hotel was located a good distance from Bar Harbor but not too far. Meaning it was quiet and out of the way but still close enough to enjoy everything around. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly, kind and nice. The room is large with plenty of space and very very clean. I left a Nikon lens in my room and they were kind enough to mail it back to me. I wish I had more time there. I was traveling alone and felt very comfortable and safe. Would highly recommend the place.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. I do wish it had a Jacuzzi though and most hotels don’t but there’s nothing I didn’t like at all.

I would recommend and would stay there again

Lovely cottage, front porch and privacy. Needed to get Wifi information which I forgot upon check in and when I called one number I spoke directly to the owner Shawn. Nice conversation and got way more info from him. Nice appointments in the room.

When I called to try to ask for an early check in there was no answer at the number given, ever. Bathroom adequate but small.

Superb

We loved the location! Owner was extremely friendly when checking us in and gave us some great tips on where to find the best bike trails and grub! We were far enough outside of downtown Bar Harbor to avoid the crowds and close enough to enjoy when and how we wanted. It was great to be in walking distance of Hulls Cove. A quick 20 minute walk for a cup of coffee at the general store and a beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise on the way there and back. with a perfect little spot to enjoy on the beach! With our active lifestyle, it was a great spot and so close to Acadia National Park and after a long hike/bike we were able to just hang out by our picnic tables and on the lawn outside our cottage. We will certainly be back next year!

If only we could stay longer! :) Otherwise, it was fantastic!
