LOVED this property! Perfect location between town and beach (just few blocks to town and just across lawn and street to beach). In Fase 1 (residential), so must pass by security gate to enter...felt super safe, although was never nervous anywhere in Playa. Managers were absolutely phenomenal! Great communication and super friendly. We will be back...highly recommend!

Great property, even nicer than we expected. Kitchen had not only utensils but some oil, filtered water, coffee, tea, spices... a very nice touch. Washer & dryer right in the unit. Walking distance to 5th street and all of the night life, shopping and restaurants. Beautiful beach just steps away and a nice pool that was empty the entire time we were there. If we are ever back in the area we would absoluty stay here again. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this property. Security patrolled regularly, and the grounds and unit are well-maintained. The location is within walking distance of all the shops, ferry, and beaches. The unit owner was reassuringly very responsive when we had a minor hiccup with checkin getting the keys. We would definitely return!

This is the second time I stay in this relaxing retreat, and I absolutely love it! Great neighborhood, everything is within walking distance. I feel very safe in this area, which I find very quiet and relaxing. Thank you very much for making it a beautiful stay for us. We hope to come back soon and stay here again!

The apartment is in a beautiful complex, charming, old-style architecture, and beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. The plants and animals outside added so much charm - the flowers were gorgeous, and the beach is literally 3 minutes away. We even befriended a local cat whom we called Carmen - she was a great addition to our company. The apartment also has everything you need for the beach - chairs, towels, a parasol. We also made our Christmas dinner at home - it was great to be able to cook and have a quiet family supper. (By the way, the supermarket is maybe 10-15 minutes away, so that was very practical.) The patio is very secluded and inviting - we spent a lot of time there. We were also able to go on a day trip to visit the Maya ruins in Tulum and Coba and swim in a cenote. That was a huge bonus! Thank you, Marie, so much, and happy 2019!

Our first rental experience was a great one. The house surrounded by lush gardens and the ruins was just the beginning. The Mexican style house with every convenience did not disappoint. We used the pool everyday, most times we had it to ourselves. A short walk to 5th Avenue was also welcomed as well as the beach. Lots of seaweed on the beach, could be seasonal. That’s the only negative of our wonderful stay at Casa Armonia.

I want to start my review by complimenting the daughter of the owner, Caren Ore. We had several different questions when we first arrived at the villa and she was easily accessible via telephone and even stopped by one day to make sure everything was right. Thank you!! The location of the villa is literally 2 blocks off 5th Avenue and is a 5 minute walk. It is literally a 2-3 minute walk across the trail in the historical park (Mayan Ruins!) and a walk across the street to the beach. It is a beautiful stretch of beach for all people in the Playacar Phase I development. We could not have been happier about the location of the villa and Playacar Phase I. This gated community was very quiet and safe and we came and went day and night and felt safe at all times. Do not hesitate to rent in Playacar Phase I. The villa itself was awesome. It is perfectly represented in the photos on VRBO. Everything that you need is right there in the villa. The kitchen was perfect and we cooked every breakfast and most lunches right there at the villa. The master bedroom was excellent with a king bed and bathroom. The 2nd bedroom had the 2 twin beds and worked great for our 2 kids. It was also nice to have a 2nd bathroom for the kids. We all fell in love with the siamese cat, Sammy, who hangs around the villa. He was usually easily found every time that we were out on the beautiful front deck which we used constantly during our trip. We did feed and take care Sammy throughout our stay and it helped to ease the pain of being away from our 2 little pups at home. All in all it was a wonderful Christmas vacation and if we are ever in Playa Del Carmen again we will definitely return to this villa!

La Villa, es un hermoso lugar, Pasamos unos días ahi en familia, con nuestros dos hijos de 16 y 2 años. Un lugar tranquilo y cómodo, donde nos sentimos como en nuestra casa. Todas las mañanas venían los gatitos buscando comida, y Luca nuestro pequeño los alimentaba feliz. Esta a pocos metros de la playa. En la casa hay sombrilla, sillas y juguetes para llevar a la playa. La quinta Avenida también se encuentra muy cerca. Un lugar ideal para pasar las vacaciones. Por supuesto que la recomendamos y pensamos volver a rentarla.

This villa was the perfect location for us! We are a family of 4 with 2 older teenagers so we wanted something for everyone and this was a great spot. Walk out the front door down a path past Mayan ruins to the beautiful beach. Literally 2 minute walk! All the beach chairs and towels were provided. The condo is in a quiet neighborhood but just a block away from the busy nightlife and shopping area of 5th ave. The kids were able to safely stay out later when we wanted to head back to the condo after dinner. We rented a car and went on several excursions and rented bikes one day. The pool is close and quiet. There's lots to do! The villa has everything you need and the grocery store is close too. There are a few local kitties that like to visit too. We will definately be back net time we are in Playa. Caren was great to deal with and the price is very reasonable.

My wife and I rented this condo for 11 nights this past winter. We had a great experience. The condo was very clean, well equipped and gave us loads of room. The unit is close to 5th Ave. and all the restaurants just minutes and a short walk away. At the same time the condo was in a quiet, nice neighborhood. No noise at night - just peaceful sleep. The ground-floor unit has a terrace/porch on three sides. Comfortable seating and a nice place to read. The pool was clean and inviting. The bathrooms were very nice with good showers. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, with air conditioning if needed. We found the ceiling fans to generally be adequate. There was cable TV in the living room. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking/serving utensils, nice fridge and cold filtered water. However, we generally ate out, trying the many good restaurants. The LDO bus station is just a few blocks away, making it easy to take tours to the impressive Mayan ruins (Chichen Itza, Coba, Tulum), and to easily get to and from the Cancun airport. The owners were gracious and helpful. Caren was a big help in getting our lost luggage delivered to the unit in a timely manner. We recommend this condo with no regrets. Great place, great owners. When we go back, we will plan to stay there again.

With a ground floor entrance, and a back door just steps from the pool, this was the perfect spot for us! In a 10 minute walk we could be playing in the ocean, or at a restaurant/shopping in the middle of Playa. Plenty of room and closet space, terrific kitchen with everything we needed, and the most comfortable bed in the master! Best night's sleep either one of us has had in quite a while. Since it rained quite a bit while we were there, "we" truly appreciated the cable (translation: baseball & football games). Added bonus: there is Sammy. He is a beautiful, young kitty looking for a little companionship and a couple of meals a day (food provided). Made us feel right at home since we missed our boys! If you are looking for quiet, low key and VERY comfortable, with easy walking access to everything...this is definitely the place. Special thanks to Caren and Randy for their availability for questions, directions, recommendations and camaraderie!

My family of four spent a heavenly week at this beautiful Villa in Playa Del Carmen in the first week of July. We thought the layout of the Villa was excellent with three sets of french doors leading out on to the decks. This unit is part of a three storey building but this villa is located on the ground floor with very easy access to the beach, swimming pool, and street parking (if you rent a car). This residential area area of Playa del Carmen is very charming with beautiful homes, cobblestone roads, lush greenery including old growth trees that line the streets providing a shady canopy. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated with excellent linen and comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms are clean, updated and very functional. The kitchen also has the necessities to cook your own meals with shops for groceries not too far away. We would definitely like to return sometime in the near future.

I spent almost 3 weeks here and never wanted to leave. This condo has it all. Comfortable furnishings, peaceful quiet location and close to everything. Definitely not a "party" house and I loved that. There is a kitty that hangs around, I named her Smokey. She kind of expects a meal every morning and would love one in the evening as well. She is very sweet but does not like to be picked up. The sounds of the day become relaxing and familiar almost instantly. In the a.m. you here the gardener raking leaves and the birds singing. Then the locals begin to walk by on their way to work, always smiling and pleasant. This is a great place to vacation with your family or perhaps a girls getaway. The owner is very attentive yet respects you privacy completely. I will return again as often as possible. Thank you for a lovey stay Caren.

Very Mexican. Very comfy, Great garden setting, Very close to a beautiful beach and very close to night life on the 5th. If you are looking for a very comfortable , very convenient located and same time peacfull and safe this is perfect place. We had the rental car, which make sense if you have kids , want to oudside Playa del Carmen or pick up some grocery from near by stores. We will come back if price is sill good.

We had a great time at your place. Very comfortable and very relaxing. We enjoyed it all. The proximity to the beach and 5th street. Also, Exxo was there when we needed ice and other items. Location makes this the perfect getaway.The beach is a short walk as is 5th Ave. This unit was amazing and clean..just as promised. Nicely furnished and very well kept, comfortable and quiet! This unit has a great kitchen and everything we needed was readily available. We experienced some minor a/c trouble and it was serviced promptly. We enjoyed our stay very much..everything is so close and convenient. We look forward to staying again...Thanks for a wonderful time!
