Condo was just a short walk from lifts and restaurants. Didnt need car at all, shuttle stop was just a few feet away. Loved having a fire in the fireplace, grill was nice as was the hot tub.

This condo in Snowmass fit the bill perfectly when it comes to value. My husband and I are in our early 50's, and this condo was just fine for our stay. David, the host, met us at the condo to show us the place. Communication with him was very good. The place needs a bit of a facelift with the kitchen appliances being old. The layout of the kitchen countertop appliances is a bit odd with the microwave being basically behind the sink and hard to access. There is no light over the sink so it was a bit dark. Having a washer/dryer is certainly a nice convenience. We had never used an all-in-one unit before so there was definitely a learning curve. I never got clothes completely dry, and I did not see a way to ONLY use the "dry" function. Probably user error! The door is broken so it's a bit tricky to open and close. David had pointed this out to us at check-in. Our two biggest negatives were the sofa and the bedroom layout. The sofa would probably be fine for young people, but you really sink down into it with little support. Maybe the springs are worn out. After using it for a week, our backs were ready to be on our sofa at home! The bed is squished into a tiny room so the spouse sleeping on the far side has to pole vault over the other spouse to get out of bed. The hot tub is next to the furthest unit from this one so you do get quite cold walking to and from it. The walk to the slopes isn't bad, but there are stairs along the way. Overall pleasant stay and great value.

We had an amazing time at David’s Snowmass VRBO. The location is perfect for walking to either Base Village or the Mall. The unit is cozy and provides all that you need for a relaxing ski vacation. We hope to be back next season.

The condo is in a great location -- super close to the Snowmass Village, 100 yards from the bus stop to Aspen, and a short walk up the hill to Snowmass Mall for more restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is well stocked, and the condo has everything you need for a week on the slopes. The humidifier was a nice touch for the dry thin air. The hot tub hit the spot after a day on the slopes. David is a great host -- very friendly and quick to answer any and all questions.

Great for skiing, close by to the base village. The hot tub was convenient and the heater sidewalks made it easy to walk around even in ski gear. Kitchen was large enough for the week we were there. Bedroom was a little tight but enough for my wife and I.

Easy to find, sufficient parking, and about 100 yards to Village lifts. I think it's good for 2, but would be tight for more people than that. Strange, very small bedroom in middle of unit with no windows, so if you like it cool to sleep, you have to turn down the temp in entire condo. Owner was cordial until I failed to call him immediately upon landing at the airport, then got a bit testy with curt responses when I called an hour after leaving the airport. Did not like waiting for actual check-in information until the day of arrival; would have liked to have that with me in case I couldn't reach the owner after I was already there. Good value, so would consider renting again, but would look at other options.

David is a terrific host - very accessible and thoughtful. The unit is close to everything - Snowmass, the mall area and the bus stops. As others have said, you don't need a car. The place is clean, quiet, well equipped (wood for the fire, a grill, dishwasher and laundry supplies) and was very comfortable for two people. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Snowmass.

Can't think of anything I could complain about. David is a great host! Property was convenient to everything. Over 3 feet of snow was nice to us Georgia folks. Enjoyed sitting by the fire after busy days.

Ideal place for someone who needs a bed and a kitchen close to the slopes. Host (David)picked me up from the airport and would have dropped me off their if that was needed. Kitchen was well stocked and walk to slopes was 2 minutes. Right on the bus route to Aspen and Highlands. Would definitely rent again.

David was a great host. He was very thorough in explaining all details and went above and beyond, picking us up from the airport and then taking us to the airport again at the end of our trip. Cozy is a word that I see in other reviews and I think it describes this place very well. It's perfect for 2 people with enough room to spread out but may not work as well for larger groups. The location, a very short walk to Snowmass lifts or the shuttle to Aspen, can't be beat. There is parking but you really don't need a car as the free bus is very convenient and will get you anywhere you want to go. There is a wood burning fireplace and David has the place well stocked with firewood. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals if you like to cook. The grill is also great to have. The laundry is a washer/dryer all-in-one style machine. It takes about 4 hours for a load but was great for washing base layers and other essentials mid-trip. The Wifi works great and the Stereo system is top notch. We had an amazing stay at Snowmass and will definitely look to stay at David's place on our future trips. I highly recommend this rental for couples.

From this compact condo it's a two minute walk to the slopes and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store - so no car is needed. The condo is well supplied with everything you could need and is clean and comfortable. David, the host, definitely cares about the well being of his guests and makes himself available to help and answer questions. Combine all this with a very reasonable price for Snowmass, and it's a great choice.

The property was clean and neat, if a bit quirky. Everything worked well - kitchen appliances, hot water, shower, TV, etc. The towels, sheets, paper products were well supplied. The location is great, with a relatively short walk to the slopes, and the bus to town or the other ski hills. A couple of quirks/drawbacks - the lighting in the kitchen is dim, which may matter if you're a big cook; and the sofa/seating area is not as comfortable as other places I've stayed. But overall I think it was a good place to stay and served me very well.

My husband and I spent a wonderful here and would definitely come again. Very convenient for skiing (walk to lift) and also a cozy, inviting living space. We especially appreciated having everything you could want for cooking since we were eating in, as well as a real fireplace (not gas) which we used every night and a washer/dryer in the unit. The host was also friendly and super responsive to anything to make our stay better. All in all a great find! THANK YOU.
