Nestled in Palisades Tahoe (Olympic Valley), this charming house for $580 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Stunning, panoramic views of Palisade’s "Big Three" (Red Dog, KT-22 and Headwall) are just the start. Warm and inviting, this spacious, two-story, mountain-style home is completely furnished – and ready to accommodate up to 11 people in complete mountain comfort. Conveniently situated, you’re within walking distance of the village. You’ve also got easy access to miles of Tahoe’s famous hiking trails (Shirley Canyon and Granite Chief trail heads are both easy walking distance away). The home sits on a well maintained and landscaped half acre, bounded by a bubbling seasonal creek which runs all summer long in big snow years. Along with two of the home's bedrooms (1 Queen and 1 King), and one of the full baths, the second floor features a modern, fully-equipped cook’s kitchen (with every imaginable tool you'd need to prepare even Thanksgiving dinner), a living room with gas fireplace, a dining area and bar – so you can savor the views while you share your meals. The main deck, just outside the living area's sliding glass doors and picture windows, features an outdoor dining area, a propane BBQ and a fire pit for relaxed dining and conversation and a big shady pine tree named "Sticky." The first floor, along with its three bedrooms (1 king, 1 Queen, 1 bunk w/ full and twin) and two full baths, has the master suite and just outside that is the covered deck with seating, a large hot tub, and those same postcard views! - 2500 Square Feet of Living Area on 2 levels - Huge, 2 level deck in the shade of and shared with a beautiful old pine tree we call "sticky" - VIEWS! - 5 bedrooms (2 kings, 2 queens, and one bunk bed with 1 full and 1 twin) - Both levels independently controlled by Nest thermostats - 3 full bathrooms - Entryway mudroom and coat area - Dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer - Fully stocked kitchen - Wine fridge - Hot Tub - 500 mbps wifi - suddenlink cable service - gas fireplace - gas bbq grill - 5 car parking

This home was absolutely perfect for our stay. Myself and my team were in Palisades for work related support of a trail race and the home was perfect for meetings and relaxing. Beautiful back patio deck looking across the valley, inside the house is cozy and well stocked with all the amenities we could need. There is a nice, easy access trail that connects to the Granite Chief trail just up the street (really nice if you trail run or hike)! Damon (the host) was highly responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I can't recommend his home enough, we will most definitely look to book the Scholls Haus again next year!!

This house was great in terms of size, location, comfort, and communication with the owner. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked (better than any rental I've seen in terms of appliances, cookware, spices, condiments, etc.) and made cooking all of our meals incredibly easy. There's a little space downstairs with a large desk where we set up a work station given that we had a lot of people working from home. There was also a mini workout area next to the "office" with multiple sets of weights, a roller, stability ball, and other small workout things (including a pullup bar in one of the downstairs bedrooms). There were some hiccups (small leak, broken toilet, wifi issues, dead lightbulbs), but Damon was fast to respond to emails and got things fixed quickly. Would stay here again!

Really enjoyed staying here for our ski vacation at Squaw Valley. It's about a 4 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the lifts. There's 3 king beds, a double/single bunkbed and a sofa bed. There's a well-equipped kitchen, a hot tub, two big decks and 2 living areas, each with a tv, and a mudroom for keeping wet clothes and equipment. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of room. The house was clean and well-decorated. Expensive but overall deserving of a five star rating.

Wonderfulhome for a large group. The view of Squaw Valley is stunning. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing that really bothered us. Loved the check in and out process. Very simple. Hope to stay there again maybe for a family reunion.

Was perfect for our two families. The kids played downstairs while the adults were able to hang out upstairs. The back patio was perfect for meals and late night cards with a beautiful backdrop. Close to restaurants. Got pizza the first night from Fireside Pizza, about a 5 min drive and it was pretty good. Saturday we went to Commons Beach and rented paddle boards. Nice beach for kids, even has a playground. It's about 20 min drive with traffic from the cabin.

The home is well kept, fully stocked and perfect for a large family. The only downside is all the construction in the area which started before 7am during the week and was very loud. But we would rent this house again.

We were overall happy with the rental. Killer views of Squaw Valley from the far side of the valley. Thought the rental was a bit overpriced for "what you get" - a solid, down the middle 1970s ski house. But we would stay there again for sure at 20% lower prices given the cleanliness, proximity to Squaw, and great views.

This house is perfect for a trip up to Squaw for some snowboarding and fun! VERY close to the village, and the house itself is designed for a nice getaway. Damon was super helpful getting us set up, and his instructions were very easy to follow! I only had one question during check-in, and he reached out immediately to help me out. The group I came with definitely will try and lock this place down again! The home made the whole weekend enjoyable and stress-free

Damon was very responsive to requests/questions. The house was great - lots of space, comfortable beds, kitchen fully stocked with all the tools you could need. The hot tub didn't work but we were only there for 2 days and Damon quickly had someone come over to look at it - we ended up not needing it! Great place for kids - bunk bed, toys, pack n play, etc. Located a 5 min drive to Squaw.

We had a great time here! We had no problems with the property, the hot tub was easy to use, and it was fun to sit out on the deck. There was plenty of sleeping space and all the rooms were comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Squaw Creek!
