The beach front condo was a perfect place to have the view of the beach! It was quiet in the early morning and evening, with great beach access. We enjoyed all the amenties and the views from the outdoor patio. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and couches. The parking spot provided was a little tight for our SUV and there are 2 levels of stairs to climb to get from parking to the door-this was alot of up and down with kids and beach gear. Overall, our stay was a good experience at the condo- many family memories made.
The property management team did not accommodate early check in as requested (with 3 kiddos and a car load of gear- this would have been helpful ) they told me the cleanjng crew was still there when we arrived at approx. 320pm. I was told they would send me the gate code at 4pm, which they didnt. I had to call again, to have this sent to me. When we got inside, all windows were were locked up, and it was extremely hot and stuffy, which made me wonder if it had been finished earlier. We have rented before through this company and they have always been attentive and accommodating ...not sure what happened this time.

I've been coming to Avila Beach for most of my life and have stayed at many of the local hotels over the years. This particular VRBO, right on Front Street and above the market was our favorite stay to date. The space felt like we had lived here for a long time. It just felt like home to us and you can't beat the views, people, and marine life watching (and the perfect place to sip some wine) on the seaside deck. Literally, everything was perfect for us. Zero complaints. Can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Avila. The location was so convenient and very nice to have an easily accessible reserved parking spot. The rental property was well kept and maintained. We wished the fridge/sink had a RO system or filter for drinking water, but this was a minute issue. It was sometimes a little noisy being above the grocery store including hearing a smoke alarm early in the morning but all in all, couldn’t be the location. We will happily return in the future!

Great getaway spot. Slept soundly to the sound of the waves with the windows cracked. Very convenient access to the beach, coffee and downstairs market. Did not recall that the description detail included the two flights of stairs to reach the front door. Got my steps in. Would definitely rent again.

Second time renter. We had our young kids, and this property was great for them. While one is napping, the rest can still enjoy the great view from the balcony. Easy beach access and can watch your crew from the rental, too.

Our family vacation was filled with relaxed fun, sunny days, al fresco meals on the patio, and oceanfront views. The condo was clean and updated. Perfect for a family of four. Great oceanfront spot. Morning walks on the beach and evening strolls through town. This location was ideal and no car was needed the entire week of our vacation. Listening to the ocean and feeling the breezes from our flat all day and night made Avila Beach the perfect small town to reset, refresh, and slow down. The town shops and restaurants close early which aligns with the sleepy village vibe. Get creative with family fun ideas when staying in town. The crowds are small and folks are friendly, ice cream and shaved ice appear everywhere and surf rentals with boogie boards are easy to find. Not a big party town which is perfect for kids. Definitely a family spot for all ages including grandparents.

We stayed two nights at this location over the weekend. It was a perfect spot for my husband and 2 year old son. It has a beautiful view and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. It is right about above a market and restaurant which is so convenient! Got a little noisy during opening and closing times and when you walk out it’s near the garbage but we didn’t mind. Look forward to coming back!

We love Avila! Overall, the unit is very nice, clean and spacious. It is very loud with the alley of the Market right at your windows. There was a party one night, we had to call 911 twice to come break it up and during the day, you have to pass the dumpsters and the side alley to get to Front Street.

This was our 5th time to say at this condo along with it's neighbor, 358 Front, and have noticed a marked decline with this one. The sheets for the pullout couch were threadbare with a large rip and the pillows were covered with I don't know what and were unusable along with the teflon skillets that were badly scratched. The outside snack top was filthy with globs of barbeque sauce stuck to it. The tv was unwatchable with every person an awful shade of green and the humming noise drove us crazy! We love these two properties and would love to see this one restored to it's former beauty! 358 was great...are they owned by two different people??
