This 2nd row home was completely updated in 2013 with all modern amenities, but it still retains its bungalow feel. Inside you will find a bright, cheery and comfortable atmosphere - perfect for unwinding at the beach! The whole house was remodeled including a new kitchen. It is conveniently located across from a handicap beach access. After a day of sun and fun, wash off your sandy feet in the spacious outdoor shower---with hot & cold running water. Enjoy a family dinner or a cold drink while watching the sunset from One of our 3 OUTDOOR spaces: Ocean-facing screened-in porch (with rocking chairs and chaise lounges), OR large outdoor back deck OR upstairs Widow's walk. This home is dog friendly - so bring your best friend! Pet gates have been installed at each deck entrance. Please note our house amenities include WiFi; Cable TV; DVDs and Stereo with CD Player. Also included for use during your stay are beach cart, beach chairs and a cooler.

Perfect for our family. It was a fantastic location with unexpected extras that we have not experienced in our past beach rental homes.Jan was gracious and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommended! Best outdoor shower ever!!

We loved this property!! It was close to the beach, well stocked kitchen, had all the necessities and extras you might need - extra beach chairs, beach toys, coolers, umbrella, beach bags, etc.
Will definitely be back to stay again.

When we arrived we were greeted by Jan and showed the property. A phenomenal stay for 5, we enjoyed every area of the property and found the accommodations just perfect. 4 total outdoor areas including crows nest and table in the carport area gave everyone room to move and have space. Our little dog enjoyed the deck areas and we were at ease with lockable gates at all access points. We were very pleased with this cottage but just wished we had used the outdoor grill for dinners. Maybe next time… and there definitely will be a next time. Can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful week at “Just Add Water” in June. The house is adorable, super clean, and well equipped. We spent hours enjoying the screened in porch (I drank my coffee out there every morning). We brought our English Bulldog, and he had a blast hanging out with my husband and and son downstairs. He loved watching everyone go by. The walk to the beach was a breeze with the handicapped access right across the street. We all used the outdoor shower everyday…so refreshing and convenient. Jan was the perfect host! I was so impressed that she went out of her way to call us directly to get to know us a bit and tell us about all the great things her home has to offer. She also welcomed us with some yummy snacks and a lovely card, which was a really nice touch. The house isn’t huge, but it was perfect for us! We definitely want to come back! I highly recommend this adorable beach house!!

We had such a great stay and could not imagine a more well-appointed vacation home—the kitchen had everything you would need and more. This home has been lovingly restored and well cared-for—and so clean! Loved the outdoor shower and other great porch/deck spaces too-the gates around the decks were perfect for keeping our dog safe. Jan is a gracious host who stayed in touch throughout the process. Highly recommend this place!

From beginning to end this was an excellent experience! Jan’s attention to detail is unmatched. She is the only host to call before we booked to explain in detail about the house and what the beach had to offer. Upon arrival the house was immaculate and even smelled wonderful!! She was so thoughtful by leaving a welcome package and providing enough kitchen and bathroom items to get us started. The house is in a perfect location. The beach was great and very family friendly. If you’re looking for a quite, family friendly place this is it!! I just can’t say enough!! We had an amazing time and made many wonderful memories!! Thank you Jan for being such an amazing host!!

We just returned home after spending 2 weeks at "Just Add Water." This was our 12th year at Sunset Beach. We love it there. This was our best and most relaxing visit. The location of the house it awesome. Jan was wonderful. She answered every question, and is very organized. The house is so sweet! Every detail is so thoughtful. It's beautifully decorated. There are books, and movies, games, and even a basket full of remedies for sunburn, bug bites, etc. We loved the screened in porch. We travel with our pups, and the gated decks were so helpful. Don't hesitate to stay here. You will be so happy you did....we certainly were!
