The hotel is located in a perfect spot for exploring the old city and is within easy walking distance of all the main sites including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc.
The apartment is boutique in style but a little frayed round the edges (e.g. a window blind was hanging off the ceiling and the wardrobe didn't have door handles!). However, it had all the required facilities and good air conditioning.
The served breakfast was excellent and ample.
A few little attentions to detail (see above) would lift the hotel to another level.
Early morning Mosque calls (5:30 am) might annoy some, but we found it to be quite atmospheric and added to the overall experience.
The hotel has no lift, so be prepared for climbing the steep stairs if located on higher floors.
The floors themselves seem quite thin so noise from the apartment above ours was a bit of a nuisance.

The hotel was very budget-friendly and had an excellent location. It was right in the middle of the Old City, with Hagia Mosque and the Blue Mosque only around a 5–10 minute walk away. We also had easy access to local attractions, beautiful restaurants, and the Grand Bazaar. Because so many places were within walking distance, we didn’t need to spend much money on transport, which made the overall stay even better value for money.
The mattresses were quite old and could definitely be improved. The quality of the bed and mattress has a big impact on the overall experience, and newer, more comfortable mattresses would make the stay much better.

Nice two little cats! Friendly service. Didnt complain when asked for an extra bottle of water.
Shower needs massive improvement, as hardly any water comes from that. Also shower gel was broken, and not fixed even after complaining about it.
