Great hotel - it is tired and dated and the furniture is past its use by date but you get what you pay for and I did like it. Go with an open mind that it is dated and you will be fine!

The staff are great as is the location!
rooms are big and breakfast and drinks are reasonable prices
bed was hard (but I am sensitive due to bad back)
4th room I have stayed in with a fridge that is not very cold

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is very clean. Its very close to Yumbo too! It is an affordable hotel and thats what we wanted.
Manage your expectations. The hotel itself is definitely in need of a makeover. Paint chipping, shower hanging from the wall, generally outdated etc. The staff do their best by keeping it spotless but it needs more than that.
