This resort is great especially for super young kids, hours of fun down the slides!! our 3 year old was obsessed with the splash park and waterslides which were about 15 second walk from our kids suite! We were really impressed with just how good the pool area was for the kids, plus the kids entertainment was really fun too and our son can now count in Spanish thanks to DJ Musica!! The constant supply of food at the different restaurants on site was also so handy for a busy family and the variety of the food at the main picnic restaurant was really fab. The churros for breakfast were absolutely phenomenal!! 😍 we also loved the hand rolled sushi and Mexican night too! The staff were very nice and most spoke English 👍 as I’m pregnant they even organised a pregnancy pillow for me in our kids suite although the zip was broken so I ended up sleeping with the case half hanging off, the kids suite is super cute and highly recommended for toddlers! The windows have metal bars outside so very very good for anxious parents like me!!
A few things would really make this resort exceptional, the cleaners did a poor job, our bungalow was never super clean with other peoples hair in the corners of rooms etc. Half of the machines at the arcade on site don’t work and trying to explain that to a toddler is a pain, some of the machines look over 20 years old and hanging on for dear life it’s such a shame as it could be brilliant but there a few fun ones that do work. The packed breakfast to go we got on check out day for our travel was awful, I’m pregnant so can’t have deli meat so they literally put plain shredded carrot and plain lettuce with no sauce or cheese or butter onto dry white bread - it went straight in the bin! My kids one wasn’t much better. The variety of drinks for children in general at the resort was poor, our son lived off apple juice which isn’t ideal due to a lot of sugar - you also had to go to the bar for juice and wait in the evenings as it wasn’t readily available for dinner which often meant we had to split up whilst one parent waits for juice at the bar for the children. The food at the Italian restaurant wasn’t very good either, honestly, although the staff were very nice! We preferred the main picnic buffet restaurant! The location is good but requires taxi to get most places as it’s a bit out of the way and there’s really no shops nearby other than the onsite mini supermarket.

The layout and that it was all ground level
The lack of information regarding restaurant reservations the ambiguity of the all inclusive packages, which continually caused confusion and not just by us! Lack of information regarding early breakfast and checkout which caused anxiety!
All of this would probably have been alleviated by a proper detailed check in, the APP did not have information about any of this! Overall a disappointing experience!
Food was generally good but not hot enough even if you arrived early.
Even though our experience was not good, I would like to add that the staff were excellent, particularly the entertainment staff! Also restaurant manager Joaquim went particularly out of his way to help as he knew we were not happy, he went above and beyond!
Also the bar staff were particularly attentive and helpfull often providing us with information that should have been provided by reception.
