We were shown to our room by a friendly young man, he showed us the key code & explained about the keys. The room was clean, loved the furnishings, bed was firm but comfortable, clean bedding & bathroom complete with wash things, nice to have some drawers & a clothes rack to hang up some clothes. Was nice to have a kettle & hot drink provisions.
With the bathroom being very small we kept hitting each other with the door, perhaps it would have been better opening towards the bed, also there were 3 rather rickety steps on the outer staircase that made it a little dubious to climb while carrying bags

Big room, comfortable bed, good location, friendly staff. Great value for Bristol.
It was great for me, but be aware there is an old staircase which might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems, and they warn you there will be noise from the pub in the evening.

Nice place pictures are a bit old of the property and rooms.
Room was ok could do with a bit of a freshen up. Bed was comfortable and the shower worked!

The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well. The pub was not as busy and noisy as expected.
A lot of damage all around which needs fixing. Smudges on the walls. The door to the room was stiff and made a loud cracking noise when opening. Information on booking.com was incorrect; the pub only has 3 rooms and all directly above the pub. WiFi was poor, mostly caused by the building being old.
