Situated in Wisconsin, this lovely vacation rental for $180 per night is a great option for your next break. Oconto is a friendly city of 4,500 beaming with history and boasting beautiful harbor facilities! Our little town is a hidden treasure! We are located 35 minutes north of Green Bay, home of the Packers!! Considering the property is located on the Bay of Green Bay, your stay may include all forms of water activity, such as sailing, boating, fishing, hunting, skiing, kayaking and jet skiing. For most visitors, their focus is generally all things fishing or hunting. Experience the famous Oconto fishing everyone is talking about! Oconto is host to pro walleye and bass tournaments attracting fishermen every year! Whether you enjoy fishing for trophy walleye or bass in early spring, whitefish, pike and perch through the ice in winter or a more relaxed pursuit of perch or bass in our summer months, you'll feel at home in our cozy welcoming rental all year long. AND with our on site boat launch, you'll get to those hot spots in no time at all! If you're interested in a guided fishing trip, we also operate a fully licensed guiding service. If fishing isn't your passion there are many other activities in the area to suit your vacation needs. Snowshoeing, cycling, cross country skiing, hiking, and site seeing are just a few of the many other outdoor activities. Also, with thousands of acres of public hunting land surrounding the property, you'll be sure to see many forms of wildlife including deer, small game and foul. There is a river otter family that passes through on a regular basis! This is a duck hunters dream as well being on the bay with complete access to marshes and some of the best water foul waters in the Midwest! If you'd like an adventure, you can boat across the bay in no time and find yourself in Door County, known for its shopping, wineries and spectacular sunsets! Other attractions in the area would include, Forgotten Fire Winery, Peshtigo Fire Museum and many other historic sites, restaurants and shopping opportunities. Regardless of which activities attract you, you'll enjoy your stay, at Fish Inn On The Bay.... Amazing views of the bay.
The cabin sleeps 8, but could probably fit more. Had everything we needed.
Chris was a gracious host and even plowed the driveway while we were there (after snow storm).
All-in-all we had a great time!

Perfect HQ for fishing Green Bay
Had a fantastic time doing some early Spring walleye fishing. The space is clean, well-stocked, and roomy. There are two bedrooms with room for all to be comfortable. Nice pool table, awesome bar and gathering area to stretch out and relax after a day of fishing. Chris and Joanne are absolutely wonderful hosts, super friendly and helpful. Just darn nice people. The boat launch is a super nice perk! We were able to have 2 big boats (Ranger and Skeeter 18-22' fiberglass deep V) at the launch with no trouble. Launch was plenty deep and it was super easy to load/unload. Really nice to walk out the door and launch rather than run to the Oconto launch (which is usually quite busy on weekends), pay the launch fee, try to find parking for the truck/trailer, etc. Perfectly positioned between Peshtigo and Oconto rivers for some great fishing areas. Long story short, I will absolutely stay here again for my future Green Bay fishing adventures.

Very pleasant stay!
Brought our son and a few friends up to enjoy some ice fishing! They were out all day on the ice and really enjoyed it. The property owner was easy to contact and communicate with. We will definitely return!

Really nice winter break
This was a great place to stay. I needed a place to stay over the holidays and this was a great choice. I really liked having the pool table around, a kitchen, and it was just generally nicely done. There's a nice little fireplace to have going most of the time. And I love all the bald eagles I saw while I was here. The views were really beautiful too. Each day looked different over the water.
There are some nearby towns with shops if you need to pick up anything. The owners were really thoughtful and they even put up a nice Christmas tree for me since I stayed over the holiday. Thank you! I would definitely come back in the summer time with some friends.

Friends Fall Fishing getaway
We had a great time! Chris and Jo were so friendly and helpful. Chris gave the guys fishing tips and Jo shared some fun places for us girls to shop and eat.

Family fishing weekend
We had a wonderful stay. Chris and Joann are so kind, and very accommodating. The apartment sits right on the bay, and we had so much fun fishing and hopping in our kayaks. It’s very convenient to run to town to the local bait shop/grocery store. And even a jaunt over to Door County isn’t a long drive.
The only thing I hadn’t realized before arriving, and I didn’t see in any other reviews, was that the apartment is above a garage. This was not a deal to us, but if steps are a problem this would not be the property for you.

Relaxing getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Chris' property! Everything was clean and tidy just like the pictures. Anything we needed Chris and his wife were able to provide to us including firewood, charcoal and starter fluid etc. Our pup loved walking out the door and heading straight to the water. Great location and not too far of a drive to a couple restaurants and other towns close by. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway on the water

Sportsman's dream
From the get-go everything was fantastic. Excellent communication and Chris was quick to answer any questions we had. Property was well equipped with anything we needed (or forgot to pack!) and makes a great stop for groups. We'll be back for sure and can't recommend this place enough.

This property was as advertised and Chris and his wife are nice and were very reachable with any questions. Very convenient from Green Bay and firewood provided (wish it would have been a tad warmer for another one during our stay but did have a nice one first night. Location is beautiful and town is close if anything is needed. Good getaway with family and hope to be back again.

Stayed for four nights. With six good friends. Nice clean place. Great room was great for chatting and catching up with old friends. The fishing was a little tough but not Chris's fault. It's the most convenient place to fish from. Has its own boat landing and dock. Power was knocked out one night from storm and Chris hooked up generator to give us electricity. Handy guy. Also guides for walleye. Willing to share his info. On them. All in all, we were all impressed.
