Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa

Such a great hotel – great location – right on the main street of shops, restaurants and bars and supermarkets, and it’s situated right on the beach, so you’ve got the options of pools and the beach to swim in (please note it’s a public beach, so you have to pay the 10 Euros for two x sunbeds and an umbrella), but you can just walk out of the hotel onto the beach and use the beach to swim if you don’t want pay to be there. They also have a great policy that you get to choose your sunbeds in the grounds for the duration of your stay, so there’s no need to stress and get up early to book your sunbeds – they’re nominated for you for the duration of your stay. The staff were friendly – esp the doormen and the front reception staff. Room was great – lots of space, good air-con, strong wifi, comfortable bed and a great balcony to see the ocean and sit and have an afternoon or morning cuppa on your own balcony. One thing to note, it would have been nice to have quiet music in the grounds for the sunbed areas. The Sunday they actually had a violinist booked – which played depressing music like in the Movie The Titanic when it was sinking – such a strange choice of live music when it’s a beach/poolside hotel and everyone is on holidays. There was a daily boost of music for the kids in the kids pool at 3:45pm each day – which was a bit of ‘vibe’, so unfortunately that was it - so some background music would have been nice. Overall – a great hotel and we’d stay again!

The lack of music around the pool/grounds and the awful live violinist that played on the Sunday which was completely off-tone and not in line with a beach hotel vibe.

problem with the swimming pools. chlorine destroyed all our swim wear! when speaking to hotel management they fobbed us off saying all test came back fine.
