*Good location to main tourist attractions
*Excellent communication up until we arrived
*Room cleanliness: The room wasn’t clean, with lots of dust all over the floor.
*Bedding: The bedding was mucky and didn’t feel clean or fresh.
*Curtains: The curtains were hanging down and looked like they needed repairing.
*TV: The TV didn’t work. We reported this to reception and asked for it to be fixed, but unfortunately nothing was done.
*Security: One day, we returned to find our room door unlocked. I definitely locked it before leaving, as I always check the door is locked.
*Bed: The single bed was actually a put-up bed made from two separate mattress sections. They moved apart during the night, leaving a gap in the middle, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on.
*Clothes rail: Above the put-up bed was a clothes rail, which was hanging down from the ceiling on one side and clearly needed repairing. We also couldn’t use the rail to hang any clothes because of the position of the put-up bed underneath it.
*Decor: There was a lot of scuffed and tired-looking paintwork throughout the room.
