Great location just a very short walk to the beach. Plenty of food/shops nearby. The kids loved the ocean. We got them some “boogie boards” and they had a blast. Our only complaint, and it’s not really, was the web site showed two single beds in a bedroom but they were bunk beds. Everything worked out though. We would stay here again.

The Commander’s Cottage is so close to the beach which we loved. We had no desire to stay in those oceanfront resorts, so this house was perfect. The provided so much. We didn’t realize until mid week that their were lots of beach supplies too like chairs, umbrellas, toys etc and even beach towels. We would stay here again!

Leading up to our stay the hosts Dwane & Jeanna were incredibly responsive in answering our questions. The property was extremely clean and in a great location. Would definitely stay at the Commanders Cottage again!

The property is very nice and the location was great. The only problem for us was that we had10 adults and only 3 children. The sleeping arrangement truly did not work for us, but the house is very nice and clean and well equipped. The owner was very responsive and check-in/out was easy.

Perfect Family Spot
This property was perfect for our family reunion. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Everything was very clean. The beach is close enough even for my 85 year old father to walk to comfortably and a pool is just across the street. I highly recommend this property and these very responsive owners.

The house was VERY CLEAN, well kept (we are very picky about cleanliness) with a lot of basic necessities with kitchen utensils, appliances, soap, etc. I know it seems small but those things make a huge difference when traveling with kids! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for us and we loved sitting on the balcony at night to enjoy the breeze. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay and there wasn't much within walking distance but that had nothing to do with the house itself. Dwayne was incredibly responsive. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Wonderful and relaxing stay
There not much else to say that hasn’t already been replied by other guests but we had a great stay (7 people total. One teen, 2 children and 4 adults). The two owner suites were nice and drove our decision to stay there.
Check in/out process was a breeze and the hosts were very responsive and cordial.
I’d highly recommend this property to others and I’d stay here again as well.

Great place and awesome location
Myself and friends wanted a short getaway in Myrtle and found this beautifully decorated place just across the street from the beach. Scheduling was a breeze and the communication with check- and check-out couldn't have been better! Highly recommended this property if looking for a place in Myrtle!!!

Perfect Location
Perfect location and only steps away from the beach. We loved this rental because it is away from the crowds of the boardwalk and the area of the beach that the house is near is less busy/crowded. The property was clean, was provided with towels, complimentary bath soap, shampoo, lotion, toilet paper and makeup remover. The kitchen was equipped with all cooking necessities and some cleaning supplies. The outdoor shower made it convenient to wash away the sand and dirt from the beach and the carport parking was very convenient.
The only thing I would suggest is an upgrade for the televisions to smart TVs that would enable Netflix, YouTube, etc. but you could easily work around that by bringing an Amazon fire stick.
We will definitely be renting this property for future family vacations.

Ultimate Family Time
We rented the home to have the chance to meet family we had never met before. In the midst of the stay we had some fun as well. We went to Broadway at the Beach, Dicks Last Resort, of course the beach and other places but nothing beats the time that was spent in the perfectly sized house for my 9 person trip. Everyone slept comfortably and there was no fighting over bathrooms and that’s a huge plus. Hoping to come again soon to spend more time with the family!!

Great stay at Myrtle Beach
We really enjoyed our stay. The check in process was very easy and the place was clean. The beach is very close although you do have to cross a busy street to get to it. The pool was nicely maintained and the kids enjoyed playing in it. There were a couple minor things that may need to be fixed in the future such as one of the handles in the bath came off although we got it back on and the dishwasher didn’t seemed to be screwed in properly. There was also only one dish towel. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it’s very close to the airport if you fly in and to all the major attractions without too much traffic. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Property for Family
As a single family house, this property is clean, spacious and well maintained. The owner is very nice and welcoming. We love the size of the house and the kitchen, which is fully equipped for making your own food. It makes the trip easier and safer given year 2020 is such an abnormal time. There are also several good restaurants around to order food. It is very easy to access the beach just across the street. Overall, great stay for enjoying family time. Give 5 stars and will consider again for the next time.

Very nice house and short walk to the beach.
Location can be occasionally loud due to large companies of tourists and bikers in nearby hotel and other cottages. Personally, I do not mind that because I like a city life.

Mr Clean Lives Here!
My family and I were very happy with our stay; the home was clean and had most things one could need. The proximity to the beach and town were awesome! I would recommend probably leaving a list of nicer restaurants with good food for out of town guests because the food around there was awful! We had to go to Murrill’s Landing to finally get something that wasn’t deep fried. Also, we didn’t realize that the pool was across the street from the unit which was kind of weird and should have been explained. Aside from that, the stay was great and the house was awesome!

Family time
We absolutely loved our stay. The walk to the beach was very acceptable. I was able to give some of my family a great time at the beach without being too expensive. We ate in for all our meals and the kitchen was well equipped the condo was beautiful and we felt right at home. Loved the full shower outside The bedrooms were a good size so we didn’t feel cramped over all it was an amazing experience

Enjoyed the stay
The house cleans and was only a short block to the beach. It was so convenient that we ended up going back to the beach each evening from 6-9pm and played football and beach bocce ball with the family. Great time
