Nestled in Savannah, this lovely house for $311 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. You’ll love waking up to the Live Oak trees and charming cobblestones that make up Jones Street, named America’s Prettiest Street by Southern Living Magazine. Built in 1856, this charming cottage is rich in both historical character and modern comforts for up to eight Lucky guests. Beautifully renovated, many of the original details have been preserved, including the rustic pine floors and exposed ceiling beams. On the first floor you’ll find a formal dining room with seating for six. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, and features the original brick fireplace, a custom built island, built in shelving, and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a meal in your home-away-from-home. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating for everyone, so you can enjoy a movie together on the large flat screen TV. A separate sunroom has wall-to-wall windows looking out into the backyard with flagstone patio and barbeque grill perfect for family gatherings. On the second floor you’ll find two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and a shared full bath with a double vanity. The third floor loft has one full-sized bed and two twin beds. With a large desk perfect for board games or puzzled, this enchanting spot is sure to form lasting bonds between those sharing the space and is especially perfect for children. Non-metered Parking This home offers one dedicated private parking space directly behind the property. Guests will be able to accommodate a compact car or small SUV. Loved the house, loved the location!!
House was as advertised, and was plenty of space for the five of us. The stairs up to the loft are indeed steep, but this was not an issue for our group.
Charming older house, on a beautiful, beautiful street. Outdoor patio is sizable, which was great.
Even the river area was at most a 20-minute walk, which was not a problem at all. Savannah is best seen by foot, and Jones Street is a great location in which to center oneself for seeing the city.
Great communication with Lucky Savannah too, both before and during (smoke detector battery replaced ASAP) our stay.
Would absolutely stay here again!!

Cool old house, but we had a roof leak the entire stay and it rained a lot. Management communicated well and did what they could, but with a 3 night stay, not much could be done to fix the problem. The home is decorated beautifully, just be prepared to walk up some narrow stairs. After all, the home is over 150 years old.

This house was a great place to stay!! It was in a great location and walkable to most things. There was plenty of space for us.

Easy check in/out.
Nice historical home but cluttered. Too many chairs and tables in each room. And the attic room was a storage area for extra furniture. Carpets needed replaced or cleaned as well as the couches and chairs. Pull out so sofa bed a disaster.

Our family of 7 loved this property. Everyone was comfortable and the space was more than adequate. It is a historical home, so it is of course a little dated but it adds to the charm. The location was perfect, we could walk to most places (about 15 mins) and the only way to experience Savannah is by walking! The patio space was larger than I anticipated. We would stay here again!

We really loved this place. My ONLY cautions are 1) the stairs to the upper room are VERY STEEP so we were a little nervous about the kids up there, 2) the rooms are small so it was a little challenging to find a place for a pack n play, and 3) the house was a little off the beaten path, but all in all a lovely house, so charming, clean, comfortable.

The home is cute! The two living areas make it feel larger than it is, which was really nice. There is plenty of seating for everyone. As others mentioned the stairs to the third floor loft are steep but totally manageable. The kitchen has very nice appliances and adequate supplies. We had some issues and we tried calling and texting the rental company with no response. I understand it was a holiday weekend but we couldn’t get the washer/dryer to turn on, and the toilet wouldn’t stop running and someone was double parked in the private parking space two days in a row so we couldn’t open the back gate to take out the trash. I never heard back from the company. They told us to text because it wa a holiday. Finally we reset the breakers because we needed to do laundry. But normally I wouldn’t want to take matters into my own hand with someone else’s home. Also the house was not dirty but I would not say it was shining either. Great location for the price though. A long walk to Forsyth but manageable! Also we got an email saying the house was vacant the day before our rental so we could add a day for 50% off. That was nice but we didn’t need it. So we asked for an early check in but they couldn’t accommodate it. That seemed strange considering the house was empty and available a day early. Oh also it was quite windy during our stay and something on top of the chimney flapped all night long. For a few hours we thought it was ghost footsteps in the attic!!

This place was even better than the pictures show! We had a great time in Savannah, and the place was no small part of that. I highly recommend this place!The only factor that a group (especially of girls) might want to consider is there is only one bathroom. Seven or so consecutive showers can take up some time. I wouldn't let this stop anyone from renting it, just something to consider.

This place was much larger and much nicer than they let on! I was very pleasantly surprised! I ended up having 15 women in this place and we fit perfectly fine. There was even space left over to fit more (with air mattresses). I would recommend this to any person trying to vacation in Savannah. It is not as close to downtown as they describe, but a $5 uber will get you there in no time.

Jones Street Cottage was a great location & it was very clean and well stocked. As with most home rentals in Savannah, be prepared for lots of stairs. The third bedroom is really attic space & the stairs were very steep. The house was nicely furnished and had a nice outdoor patio area.

Great home with a great location. Lucky Savannah was spectacular to deal with, very accomadating - even when we requested to move our arrival date up a day. The third floor A/C wasn't working and no answer when we called but there were enough fans for everyone to be comfortable. Other then that, the house, location and especially the back yard were awesome!

538 Jones St. Cottage was an ideal, charming, spacious property for our annual get-together of long-time friends. The dual outdoor patios would accommodate a large (20+ gathering). The inside was hospitable, clean and charming. A mini-frig substituted for an inoperable frig and a refund was made for this inconvenience. A definite A+ for a wonderful place to stay in Savannah, GA!

I do recommend this house! There are three amazing bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room are really good, useful and spaceful. Outside it's also very spaceful and good to have some meetings and parties. The whole house looks very charming.

Jones Street Cottage is a lovely house with plenty of room for a family. Great updated kitchen. Fabulous location. There was a maintenance issue with the chimney and Lucky Savannah were quick to move us to a wonderful alternative rental when they realized that it could not be quickly fixed.

Beautiful, quiet street, close to everything downtown and it is within walking distance- just park your car and go. Best breakfast is only a couple blocks away- Clary's ( we highly recommend )

We had a very enjoyable stay with 2 couples and 3 kids. Great location in the historic district, walkable or short drive to most popular activities in Savannah. Parking on the back alley for 2 cards. Great sized yard with plenty of seating, although mind some rust spots on some of the patio furniture. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Very comfortable beds (quite high bed in front bedroom may be an issue for less mobile guests). Compact bathroom with separate WC downstairs. Small house by US standards, but plenty of space downstairs with lots of seating and large dining table that would easily seat 8. High quality appliances including washer & dryer. Central air con with freestanding machine in attic room. Gas BBQ in the back yard. Tank was empty when we stayed so we didn't use it, but I would check ahead with Lucky Savannah about arrangements if you plan to use it.Be aware - very steep stairs to the attic room, although a child gate has been installed at the top.iPhone app was so convenient for arrival/departure info and reporting maintenance issues.

We loved the property - the historical character with modern amenities. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The information provided ahead of time was extremely helpful and made everything go smoothly. We did have some roof leaks during a heavy thunderstorm that should be checked out (in the living room and the pass through from the kitchen to the living room, as well as by an upstairs window). But otherwise, we had a fabulous time.

We spent 4 days at the Jones St. Cottage and had a terrific time. The house is so warm and cozy and we felt right at home instantly. The house is very well stocked, for example, nice selection of spices, etc. so if you want to cook you have that "pinch of cinnamon". I have rented vacation homes in the past and never found things like this. So very thoughtful. We parked the car the day we arrived and did not move it till the day we left. Great location. Walked or took The DOT bus. The ladies at Lucky Savannah were delightful to work with. We took a pig in a poke so to speak when we rented this house, but it exceed all of our expectations. Can hardly wait to go back!
