What didn’t we like! Our favourite accommodation in Italy! The room was simply stunning, beautifully presented and gave us a real feel for Matera! The service was second to none, Domenica is such a wealth of information, always checking in to ensure we had the best stay possible- even before we arrived! Domenica is a 12/10!

Our Host Domenica was exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble! Her communication both pre and during our stay was very helpful. She went out of her way to make sure our stay in Matera was fabulous. Her restaurant recommendations were great and she went the extra mile to make bookings for us.
The property was in a good location, reasonably spacious with a large spa bath to cool off in and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend.

The host Domenica was amazing and made my stay so special. She was so helpful in finding the trains to get there, finding restaurants and showing me where to go. I have never met someone as helpful, it was truly special. I will come back for sure!

I had a wonderful stay at Il Casale di Maria! The location is ideal. It was very easy to find and within walking distance of many great restaurants. The room itself is beautifully structured, cozy, and spotlessly clean.
What made my stay truly exceptional, however, was the host, Domenica. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, offering seamless check-in support, wonderful breakfast options, and really good recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. She was extremely communicative, warm, and welcoming which is what I really appreciated. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return on my next trip to Matera!
