Bed was very comfortable.

The room I had was a one bedroom suite and was a really good size with plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped with a fridge freezer, oven and microwave. There was a double sink and a kettle and coffee machine with plenty of teas and coffee. Washing up liquid and a scourer were supplied.
The bathroom was lovely. There was a fabulous power shower and a bath with shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied with towels. If anything ran out or you needed more you just have to ask at reception. There was also a hairdryer.
The laundry room had a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer as well as an iron and ironing board. Again washing powder is supplied and you can get more if you need it at reception.
The bedroom had a good sized double bed which was really comfy with plenty of pillows and lots of room for clothes plus a safe for valuables.
The main area had an office type desk, a table with 2 chairs and a sofa and chair and tv. The balcony rail was a little too low for my liking and not great if you have a fear of heights - I was on Floor 27!!
The cooler weather when I was there in August/Sept meant that I didn't need air con on so can't say if that worked well or not.
I would definitely come here again if I could have the same room! As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe.
The only real downside was that the hotel was in a slightly dingy part of Sydney being opposite a massive multi-storey car park that looks really over-bearing. If I'd had a view of that from my room, I wouldn't have been too impressed. That said, I found that the location of the hotel was a good walking distance from Central Station (10 mins) and also just a few mins walk to Museum for the train or same time if you wanted to walk towards China Town for the tram. Both really easy to navigate and use and only takes about 10/15 mins to get to Circular Quay where the Opera House is. I also never had any issues walking around the area.
It would have been nice to have more plug sockets to charge phones etc especially nr the desk where I would've used and plugged in my laptop
Reception are more than happy to give you more washing powder etc and tea, and coffee but if you want more pods for the coffee machine, then I was told you have to pay for those, which I thought was a bit of a cheek.
I would've liked to have a proper lock on the door as well just to feel a bit safer at night. Although no one can get in and there's a safety chain, it still would have been reassuring to be able to lock the door from the inside.

Location for access to Sydney cbd and public transport was good being near central station also for china town
Facilities were all ok with everything as stated
Pool and gym were soulless
There is no soundproofing on the windows and being beside the railway train noise and also vehicles from the street come straight through the windows particularly the bedroom
It starts early morning and only quietens down around 10pm. Not ideal considering the large cost over Sydney Marathon weekend

Great location
In my room the shower head was not attach to arm probably and was only held on my a rubber ring that kept a seal and the toilet roll holder wasn’t mounted to the plate so it would come off if you pulled the toilet roll too fast
