Space on each side of bed would have been preferable.

57 is a great hotel just moments from Central and Surrey Hills. The rooms are a little tired, but the staff could not be nicer -- a warm check-in, help with bags, and complimentary tea, coffee and pastries downstairs in the lobby each morning. It's functional, but good value for money in a great location.
With the tea/coffee downstairs, there are no facilities to make a hot brew in the room.
Our room had very little daylight (a family room) -- but saw others that were fine.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, shout out to Kaori and the team! We got an upgrade to a King room, which was comfy and of good size.
They also gave us a kettle to use in the room although there is also a 24/7 tea/coffee (pods) machine in the lobby, with fruits and pastries in the morning. We highly recommend!

We like the friendly service on arrival. Having the Coffee Machine, fruit and pastries in the morning was a treat,
thank you. The location is perfect - close to Woolies if we needed anything. Close to eateries and the biggest
;lus was the proximity to the Railway Station and the inner city.
On our second night we were woken by noisy neighbours who didn't close their doors quietly.
Also, there was water running loudly through pipes from around 1.15am - 2.30am
I had stayed here previously with a friend and had a lovely room to myself (No 300 I think). My friend had
another room. This time I came with my husband and we got a tiny room. He found the shower too small as well.
