The location is fantastic, right in the centre of beautiful Parma, which is a gorgeous, small city. The property was spotlessly clean and our room was a decent size, had a kettle and mini fridge in a dedicated kitchenette area. I really appreciate a hotel room with a kettle so this appealed to me. There is no food on the premises however we found a great cafe on the main street, 2 mins walk away for breakfast.
This might have been particular to our room but the bed was pretty average and the pillows absolutely terrible. The facilities in the kitchenette were well-used and a bit outdated. EG. kettle did not auto shut off, which I thought could be dangerous if you weren’t watching.

Location cannot be beat...right next to the Baptistry and the Duomo.
Apartment we stayed had an AC that made random noises that woke us up at night even when turned off. Bedding and furnitures need upgrade. Perhaps the rooms in the main buildings are better, but the apartment we stayed were not suitable for two couples (four adults) to share, since there is only one small bathroom. (I think the apartment is best suitable for a family with young children)...

Past reception, our room was off a picturesque patio and was decorated in a Parma provincial style, with antique prints and paintings. It immediately switched me into vacation mode. Stepping out of the hotel, you're looking out onto the main square with the beautiful Duomo and Baptistry (don't miss it!). Cafés and a bookshop on the same street. The neighbors where the hotel's parking lot is called the hotel to say we'd left our weird hybrid electric rental car on... very kind of them, as we had a flight the next day! And the staff were all very helpful and friendly--we'd stay there again for sure!

Fabulous location next to Duomo with easy access to many restaurants. The parking lot was just a short distance away. The staff were very pleasant, informative and accommodating. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated while maintaining a sense of the past elegance of the palazzo. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and water pressure was great. There was air conditioning and an elevator!
