Very impressive grand hotel that has been fully upgraded. Rooftop pool and restaurant area made it a very special visit.

wonderful people who were so helpful.

the breakfast was amazing. the concierge assisted us in determining a castle to visit. and the other concierge organized a Parmesan tour for us. so nice! the young man who handled suitcases etc was so helpful and assisted my husband with parking. just very special people here. the on site restaurant was excellent as was the bar.

Very nice and welcoming staff made for an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was simple but nicely presented. Location was great, easy walk to sights. Parking very close by.

irritated by the hotel

so many things the gentleman at the front desk is I’ll equipped to handle the job the room was terribly hot, and Parma at this time doesn’t allow a/c, so they told me to open the windows, but when you do, they immediately automatically close, so I had to put a chair in front of it to hold it open so now the window is open, but they have only a dark curtain, not a 2nd shear, so if I open the curtain you are completely exposed to people outside if undressed downstairs I ordered a latte, it came completely cold, and last, they put me in a room on the front - on Saturday morning they apparently have a farmers market which they neglected to tell me, so with the windows open, I was awakened by the noise of the market in early morning hours it is surely NOT fun as a 5 star hotel !

Disappointing

The location was top! and it was clean.

It simply isn't a 5 star hotel: - the shower was overflooding - the staff at the reception moody (confusion or the company paid already or not), - In the bathroom you see half finished stuff hanging - No warm water in the morning, - the temprature controlsystem wasn't working. - asking money for water in the room (even the most simple hotel provide one/two waterbottles per day) Etc. Etc. just really dissapointed

Very nice, comfortable, and I’ve booked it again twice…😉

No complaints. All very nice. The 5 star rating is a bit overrated. I didn’t eat a meal in the restaurant which had a Michelin star, but that shouldn’t affect the hotel’s star rating. It is certainly a strong 4 star, but 5…?

It’s a bit far from the center but that is not a factor in my rating.

Nice business/tourist hotel good for comfortable stay.

Nice 4 star hotel. Room good size. Air conditioned. Staff was excellent all around. Good breakfast.

It was somewhat distant from the city center. About a 20 minute walk.

An excellent value for money stay in a smart hotel but it’s a good 4* rather than a genuine 5*

location was great only a couple of minutes from the centre, nice decor and the food was also very good.

no tea/coffee facilities in the room really complicated light switch combinations it’s not quite 5* as I would expect that and perhaps dressing gowns etc but considering what we paid it was excellent value

great location with easy walking distance to shops/restaurants in the old town, room fabulous, bed amazing, staff wonderfully helpful
