The interior of the hotel looked gorgeous. Employees are friendly and were able to fulfill our requests. Complimentary water is also a nice bonus. The location is suitable for all kinds of activities from restaurants and sightseeing to hiking and exploring the forests nearby. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast variety options.
We came earlier than check in time and were told to leave our luggage next to the reception. It would be nice to be able to store it in a more secure place.
The check in process took a bit longer than expected, because you needed to type in your personal details on screen.

Traditional style Bavarian building had lots of charm. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
This was not a big deal but it seemed strange to have to do self check in on a touchscreen outside the property when the desk inside was manned by a helpful staff member.

Location was great, plenty of places to eat, have a coffee, explore the downtown area.
Parking can be an issue. NOBODY at the front desk/reception. Electronic check in confusing. Had to pay the tourist tax on the spot while trying to check in.

Great location, historic feeling, good breakfast
Mix between online & reception, not "my" preference.
