Great location, historic feeling, good breakfast

It was at the edge of the pedestrian zone, right at the intersection of the two major traffic lights, so hearing traffic all the time was not great...but it is great because you can walk to everything. I also have to give immense props to the young man who checked us in...he was amazing, so polite, so thoughtful. He truly went above and beyond. I tipped him although he didn't want it, but i wanted to. Take care of those who take care of you!
We had a great room with cross flow air...guess what, there isn't AC here. We stayed on a 37C day...miserable, when we left our windows open to get a breeze....horrible traffic noise. There's a bar called Peaches caddy corner from the hotel...played blaring music until after 3 AM, then the drunks came out hooting and hollering. We've stayed in places all over this town, this was the worst by far, unfortunately. The room was immaculate but the beds were not comfortable for us. We ended up leaving one day early and just forfeited the money. Also, we went down to the restaurant out front to have a beer and escape the heat...it started to rain and finally started cooling down...then they closed their outdoor windows and the restaurant has a wood fired pizza oven...guess how hot it got in there really fast?

Great location for shopping and eateries. Nice room, small but cozy and very clean.
The breakfast was lacking. Their automated coffee machine was old and very slow. When it was our turn to make
coffee it looked as if the machine had not been cleaned in quite some time. Disappointing to say the least. Also,
most of the bowls of condiments didn't have labels, and the ones that did where in German only, leaving quite a
mystery of what things were.

The hotel is very well located and was very nice. However, my housekeeping was a little hard to reach when there was no soap in my room. The breakfast was good quality for 14€.
I didn't like that housekeeping was challenging to reach for refills of soap and shampoo.
