Our room was modern and clean with a spectacular view over the port and a beautiful sunrise in the morning from our balcony. My partner raved about the buffet options for dinner.
Location was in quite a poor area of Palermo, it was a bit of a treck to the historic centre, made worse by the worst heatwave Europe's ever seen.

Overlooking a busy sea port was fascinating and great to watch. The evening buffet meal was very nice, plenty of choice and catered for gluten free items when asked for. Evening staff were cheerful and helpful. Hop on Hop off bus stop was a short walk.
Our room was on floor 6 beneath the 7th floor restaurant. We could hear every plastic chair being moved from 7am and in the evening time. Breakfast was basic, scrambled egg put out in one container that emptied quickly. Could do with two pans being put out. Did not find breakfast room staff cheerful or helpful. Although the room was very nice, the stone floor was dusty around the edges.
