Charming rooms, a little bit different.
Not enough hanging space for clothes. Lift broke down whilst we were there. Door to our bedroom led to another area which looked like a service room with cupboards full of towels and a door was open to the stairs. Luckily we explored that and were able to lock our room before we went out.

Located in a walkable distance to Colosseo, Palatin Hill and anything else up to Vatican with some effort. ( I am healthy and 66) . Affordable dining in the area.
The room was in a different building, had no views, no access to terraces pictured, no minibar, no bottled water, no tissues, no body lotion, just very small soap packets to be used for both, body and hair. The room itself was very small, although it was supposed to be room for 3 people. 3rd bed was actually a chaise I am attaching a picture of. All was far away in everything from even inexpensive Holiday Inn's standarts. There was a queen size bed with 2 pillows and one (1) sheet. 1 sheet for 2 people! After we complained we received one more sheet and a cotton bed spread as a blanket. There was no chair in the room and no iron was available. I cannot comment on the staff, but I felt they were not comfortable with my request for the bedding described above. In general, any staff I met in hotels in Europe and the US seemed more professional to me. But this could be a result of the fact that rooms are located in several apartment buildings.
For a breakfast you have to walk about 300 ft to a small restaurant that had served everyday the same food and there was no individualization offered ( we stayed in Il Covo for 5 nights total , some of them booked thru a different website). Except for the lack of variety , the breakfast was large and more than satisfying for us, but I wish some healthy food was part of it too. The restaurant staff was very nice and friendly.

Great location and very clean
The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I also didn’t know the heater was on when I arrived (I never turned it on), so in the middle of the night I had to open the windows and ended up getting sick. There’s also no air conditioning. It says breakfast is included, but it was very simple, so I ended up getting my own instead. The Wi-Fi was also very slow and would sometimes disconnect.
