A very special hotel with excellent staff at every corner. Set in bucolic surroundings. Deck chairs around the grounds. Lovely swimming pool .

Absolutely dreamy landscape. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. Pool is great, the bedrooms are spacious and super comfortable. This is a property you go to unwind and relax. The restaurant was good. I wouldn’t put this as a negative but more as an information as I saw some people marking it as a “negative”. The closest village is 15 minutes away by car and anything else at least 40 minutes away. It’s just something that needs to be considered depending on the type of experience you are looking for. In our case this is exactly what we wanted and have rarely felt as much at peace as we felt in this place. It’s an oasis to calm down your nervous system.
We think it’s an easy fix but there was a lack of amenities in the room. There were no cutlery, wine glasses or a wine opener which is very basic and should be present given the price paid. Even very basic hotels typically offer that. We had to bring the bottle we had bought at a vineyard to be opened by a server at the restaurant while he was super busy. We had to do two others back and forth for a bucket of ice and getting a knife for a snack we had purchased. It takes away from the experience, you feel like you’re bothering the staff by asking and is just frustrating.
Since everything is far from the finca, I think it would be great to offer snacks in the room on top of the mini bar that can be deducted if consumed. Again, making the stay much more agreeable especially if you get hungry past the time the finca kitchen is opened.
The staff team is ok, they aren’t rude at all but not warm either. The service is not an issue in itself but the overall energy is not special compared to other places we’ve been to where staff almost felt like old friends or family at the end. It just feels cordial, that is all.
