Das Hotel und die Lage sind wunderbar, bei der Zimmerwahl gut aufpassen

Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, die Lage des Hotels ist ein großes Plus. Absolute Ruhe, schöne Anlage mit herrlicher Sicht

Wir waren in einem DZ untergebracht, das keine Möglichkeit bot, Kleidung für zwei Personen unterzubringen. Hinter einer Tür gab es eine Stange mit Bügeln und ein Regalboden - mehr nicht. Keine Schubladen, keine Ablagefläche - eine Woche haben wir mehr oder weniger aus dem Koffer gelebt; für den Preis nicht akzeptabel. Zudem lag das Zimmer im EG - das Duschen der Nachbarn inklusive WC-spülung war gut zu hören. Ferne verfügte das Zimmer über ein offenes Bad - auch hier war keine Privatsphäre möglich - das ist inakzeptabel.Auch konnten wir nicht den Außenbereich vor dem Zimmer nutzen, da dies ein Durchgangsbereich für die Gäste war.

Perfect rustique place to relax with breath taking views

The property in itself is stunning! The view, the pool, the terrace. Couldn’t dream of a better place to relax! Very large suites. Great food.

Ventilation sounds in the room even when the aircon wasn’t on. Nothing else that comes to mind.

Wonderful, a truly relaxing and peaceful place to disconnect.

The location was exceptional, the views of the valley from the hotel and swimming pool were really beautiful. The place was peaceful, surrounded by nature with just the noise of the wind, the birds and the occasional sheep, an amazing place to disconnect. The rooms & the interior design were charming, the outside patio absolutely stunning and the food was excellent!

Everything was excellent, the only thing I would change if I could is to make this place adults only. We chose this place as it was catalogued as one of the most peaceful hotels in Mallorca and we must say that the presence of children, particularly in the swimming pool area, does ruin the atmosphere of peace & quiet a little bit. The restaurant isn’t exclusive to hotel guests, so no guarantee that you’ll be able to have lunch or dinner in the outdoors patio, as there are only a few tables and can fill up quickly.

Stunning beauty and total relaxation!

Finca Son Palou; what a wonderful combination of beauty, warm hospitality and tranquillity! The location is absolutely stunning. From the beautiful views at the large and well-kept front lawn, where we enjoyed a morning read or afternoon white wine, to the infinity pool overlooking the valley and the walks across the beautiful estate, with its olive trees, sheep and fields. And beyond that the beautiful Tramuntana mountains! Breakfast and dinner is a delight; lots of delicious things to choose from, and served by an expert staff, really wonderful people who combine true professionality with warm personal hospitality. In all, what a fabulous experience! Our stay was a bit short (8 nights) but on return we felt like we had enjoyed a really long relaxing holiday. We will certainly be back!

I wouldn't know how to improve on this experience ...

One of the best hotel in Mallorca for us! :)

The time spent in the hotel was very pleasant. So good that we even went back to the hotel instead of going to another accommodation. Everything beautiful. They have different, rustic, sophisticated rooms. The silence, tranquility and peace are indescribable, the landscape from the hotel park is beautiful. Those who want to be away from the noise of the city are in the right place, because here they can relax in complete peace. There is also breakfast, mini lunch and dinner, good wines and a large pool. Parking is arranged, the center of Orient can actually be reached by exiting the hotel door. We highly recommend it and would like to come back again!

Absolutely incredible place with the most wonderful staff and food.

Everything about this place was incredible. The setting, the staff, the food and the general ambience of the place were amazing. We travelled with our 7month old and this was our first trip abroad with him. The staff at Son Palou made it so incredibly easy and welcoming that we are now way more confident and comfortable that travelling is an option. Cannot recommend the place more highly.

Its not really a 'dislike' but I would warn anyone hiring a car to err on the side of caution and go with a slightly smaller car if possible. The roads on the way to Son Palou are incredibly tight, winding and in places not wide enough for vehicles to pass each other. It will make your stay a lot calmer if you do not have to worry as much about navigating the blind hairpins everytime you return to the hotel! That said....its a wonderful experience to drive up the road!

Luxury stay in magical location.

The setting and location in the heart of the Tramunta mountains is wonderful. The Finca and extensive grounds are well maintained with an infinity pool facing the setting sun and the view up the valley. Our room, and upstairs junior suite was huge and another fantastic view over a small courtyard and down the valley. The staff are generally friendly and helpful when asked. The food at breakfaast and in the evening was excellent.

The hotel relies on providing information via a QR code i.e. no written information. Unfortunately we didn't find this out until we were leaving so missed some useful bits of information. For example the fact that there is a locked gate after a mile or so along one of their recommended hikes: reception can provide the code.

Beautiful finca hotel but very remote

Location was lovely and room was spacious. Food T the restaurant in the evening was also excellent.

Check-in was extremely slow as was check out which is a shame. We were offered a welcome drink as part of normal check in but If you are expected to wait over 40 minutes then maybe an additional drink as a gesture might have been nice. We were told the hotel was busy but then the hotel should maybe employ more staff to help rather than keep guests waiting.

The gardens and surroundings of the hotel are stunning. The room and bed were incredibly comfortable, breakfast delicious and staff really helpful.

Great hotel and people, but it should be for adults only.

Like everything about the place and the staff. Food was also good

Rules by the pool not being applied by any guest, such as no long beds reservations and a lot of fmilly with childrens being very loud and not repecting the rules of quietness.

A lovely, tranquil stay.

Excellent breakfast: tremendous choice of cereals, pastries, meat, cheese etc. All meals were delicious. The staff were without exception outstanding: from the moment we arrived we were made to feel truly welcome. The valley setting was magnificent.

this is a really lovely place in a beautiful location. we loved the pool, the gardens and the rooms. the surroundings are so peaceful all you can hear is birdsong.

dinner was a bit expensive.

Very good

The setting and location are superb, the food excellent and the staff attentive and efficient.

We stayed for 2 nights on the second of which we had lukewarm hot water in the evening and no hot water at all in the morning. No apology (never mind discount!) was offered.

A perfect picturesque idyllic holiday

Amazing sweeping views. Super breakfast & meals. Very courteous staff. Helped us arrange a car & airport transfer. Marc is a great host . Very clean & beautifully designed rooms for common use !!

Such a beautiful place to stay with stunning views, amazing food and personal service. The staff are wonderful and the history of the Finca adds a wonderful ambiance.

Our drain was smelling a bit but the hotel sorted it out immediately. I couldn’t fault them. It is a unique package in a sea of mediocre Mallorca stays.
