We shared a spacious suite with another couple. it was extremely comfortable. The hotel's location, its situation in a historic building, and its restaurant and bar were all top class.

The fireplace is spectacular, the hotel was well maintained, comfortable, warm, extremely quiet (we didn’t a single noise whilst in our room!) and very peaceful.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was really cosy and comfy, absolutely spotless and like a home from home.
The free breakfast was very tasty, with lots of different options to choose from and great views from the restaurant
Parking was very expensive and a walk away from the hotel albeit it was safe and spacious. The sauna was off on the one occasion we went to use it so we had to call reception for them to turn it on and took about an hour to warm up by which time we had to move one, this was a little disappointing as it was in the middle of the day and sauna opening hours.

Hotel is centrally located, good for walking around town. Lobby has a nice large fireplace where people relax. Breakfast was very good and has windows overlooking the water. Room was clean and spacious.

Great location , close to the waterfront , restaurants and local shops
The room was extremely small, and a long way from reception in a second building. The parking whilst secure is remote from the hotel. The noise from the local bars around the Harbour goes on till 0400, not good for a restful stay. Not good for Motorcycle travel, and overpriced, paying for location only.
