Great location . Lovely breakfast.
Also ate there one evening which was good.
An old building which has its challenges.
The decor was tired.

The location is excellent. A short walk to the railway station and five min walk to the Shambles. Couldn’t be better. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly.
There are several stairs so you need to be aware of that. However, a staff member kindly carried our suitcases up to our room. There was a “low hum” that could be heard from our room. It didn’t bother me but my sister found it annoying. Came from outside our room.

Brilliant locstion in the city, Outstanding period building. Very good breakfast, apart from the coffee.
Rather a small room, but that couldn't be helped. Likewise the absence of a lift, so lots of stairs.
Bathroom rather cramped, with not enough shelf space for toiletries, and no proper soap.
Weak and tasteless breakfast coffee.

Breakfast was very nice, plenty of choice from the buffet and the menu. loved the location but I did think the room was overpriced, quite small. All of the staff were very helpful especially young lady on reception.
Just a small thing, a long mirror in the room, every hotel room should have one
