Room was fine but the batthroom and facilites average. Shower and boiling water from all tapes dangerous and the lavatory was uncomfortable

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The reception staff were great, especially the gentleman who worked on the 4th and 5th Sept. All the other staff were also very helpful and polite.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Nice room , would have preferred a bigger bed. it is a nice small boutique type hotel with pretensions of gourmet French which it does not quite achieve. Nice atmosphere and style.
On top of room rate they charge you for using the car park at £20 per day which given that it is expensive anyway ,is a bit cheeky. Expected a better standard of food which it aspires to. We stayed for three nights and the first night was disappointing in the bistro . They were busy for the week with York races. We dined the third night and enjoyed the Chateaubriand. service charge is on top of the bill. The staff are nice but need better training. Breakfast is okay but you need to be gone by 10am.
