The atmosphere and charm of an old builing was a great influence on our choice of accommodation.
The Chirchill is well placed for easy access to the city centre and the local attractions.
We booked the Chirchill because it was close to the city and attractions and offered high standard accommodation. That being said, we had a bit of a shock when we received an email two days before our stay advising us of a car parking fee of 18.50 per night. There was no mention of a parking charge when I booked.
The hot water was off one day and the receptionist advised me it's because the plumbing is old and they can't upgrade it because the building is heritage listed. (I'm a master plumber and I know this is not true)
