Andrew and Abigail are fantastic hosts, their house is beautiful and well kept. We stayed in a spacious, naturally-lit attic room, with exposed beams and very comfortable furniture.
We felt welcomed and looked after from the moment we arrived, and the food provided was exceptional; fresh home baking, locally sourced ingredients and a diverse menu.
Would recommend Ivythwaite Lodge to any traveller to the Lakes.

Brilliant location in between bowness an Windermere, a 10 min walk to either place, Abigail and Andrew were wonderful helpful hosts, room amazing with a four poster bed, Abigail even bakes lovely flapjacks and muffins which were delicious as was the breakfast

The breakfast was really nice , freshly made and a nice menu of choices to choose. Homemade granola and freshly baked muffins. It was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again the owners were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
There isn't nothing we didn't like it was a perfect stay and a beautiful lodge. My only fault was we should of stayed longer.
