Staff were extremely friendly
Although overall the property was well kept our room had quite a few cobwebs especially in the corners and a couple hanging from the ceiling. Flush on the toilet was extremely hard work and there’s mould in the shower at the bottom.
There was a wedding there and although it didn’t disrupt us too much it felt like we were almost intruding.

The hotel was a great find - the room was great & the food too but the customer service was excellent. They couldn't have done any more or been nicer - so accomodating to us, thank you.

Good bar. Room fine double. Staff mixed
I booked 2 double rooms and was just given 1 double and 1 single. When I queried it I was told that it was booking .coms fault because that was what they sent and I asked her to email me a copy of the order. This never happened so on the Sunday morning I queried it again and was told this time that booking.com did ask for 2 doubles and then told me that there must have been an error on their part. However she then tried to justify the single room by saying that there was only 1 person in it. I said that was irrelevant how many people were in it as I had booked a double. She then gave me £20 compensation. I believe that they pulled a fast one and gave me a single room because it had 1 occupant. I am also not happy that the first receptionist lied.
The meal we had as a groupp on the firstt nightt was also quite the poor- a piece of of overdone gristle masquerading as a medium rare steak!!
