The proximity to Paddington station make the journey easier to the accommodation by the Heathrow express . It was a straight path with traffic light to the hotel . Lancaster gate station nearby as well .
Room area was enough for our 3 luggages .
Love the canopy layout and beautiful embroidery of the bed covers .
A short flight of stairs to reach the hotel entrance so maybe slightly challenging for heavy luggage.

The location for the Serpentine Gallery, the purpose of the stay, was excellent. The hotel is in a quiet mews and well located for the nearby tube.
Whilst sold as a 5 star hotel in reality it is nearer 4. A supposed "upgrade" of one of the rooms was in actuality a subterranean relocation. The rooms are pleasant but not of a genuinely 5 star standard and neither are the facilities. A breakfast request for fried eggs resulted in two already broken and hard cooked yokes which would never be allowed out of a 5 star hotel kitchen. The staff were all pleasant if a little aloof and the reception area seemed to double as a meeting area in the evenings.
