Dieses Hotel würden wir nicht noch einmal buchen, da Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt.

Gute Lage Im Stadtzentrum beim Grassmarket, Castle und Royal Mile zu Fuss erreichbar, Hop-on Bus gerade vor der Tür. Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten wie bestellt.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Für eine Nacht in Edinburgh haben wir gleich viel bezahlt wie für zwei Nächte im Stadtzentrum Glasgow in einem schöneren Hotel. Eingangsbereich Apex Hotel nicht sehr ansprechend. Und beim Frühstück wurde unsere Bestellung vergessen. Personal hat sich allerdings dafür entschuldigt.

Clean. Convenient. Fair price.

The hotel is in a convenient location, close by are multiple attractions, including Edinburgh castle, which can be seen from the hotel. Waverley train station is only a short walk away too. The staff are pleasant and helpful, the facilities were great, bed was really comfortable and room was a great size.

There is no longer a restaurant or bar. They only serve breakfast. Wasn’t informed before making my reservation.

Fantastic location, comfortable rooms.

The location was incredible.

The renovations meant that there was constant noise and no access to the bar/restaurant apart from breakfast. We also had to wait a long time to check in, an hour past the 2.30 stated in the information.

Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Location is very convenient, within walking distance to the castle, royal mile, and many restaurants and shops.

Great location right on grassmarket. Super easy to get to the Mile.

It was a little loud outside in the early hours of the morning, but it is in the middle of the city centre.

Great stay, perfect location!

perfect location, free parking. Easy checkin, staff was very friendly. The rooms had a view of the castle, everything within walking distance, good valie fo rthe price we paid

no A/C made it quite warm! otherwise everything went well. No complaints, thestaff was very helpful in all situations! only breakfast, no other food in the hotel

Overall a pleasant stay

Lovely stay as always, we keep coming back as we love the hotel

The carpet was coming up in part of our room and was stained in one corner Also there were issues with one of the lifts breaking down

Everything was good, as expected except breakfast which was poor.

Has changed from previous stays. Cooked breakfast lower quality and mine was cold. Less choices in buffet. Appears to have been a saving exercise.

Overpriced.

Reception Staff were very friendly.

Having stayed at many other Apex hotels, unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. Looked dated in the upstairs corridors. We also had to wait a long time for breakfast to arrive after ordering, as at least 3 couples who arrived after us were served much quicker. We had to ask the waiters were our breakfast was as seemed as if we were missed!!

Great location, suite was lovely and spacious but shower area could do with a proper clean and fix.

The room was very spacious and loved the space from teh bathroom through to the lounge. Great to have a robe each and toiletries.

The shower toilet room had a funky smell, it did not seem like the fan was working. The shower would leak water outside the shower and then into the floor area with the sink. We had to use two towels to mop up the water spillage every time after a shower. You can see mould on the shower corners. I think it all needs to be upgraded in that section. The TV did not work properly and would sometimes switch off.
