The position was perfect for the Agatha Christie murder mystery night and festival activities.
We have stayed at the hotel 4 times before this trip, this is the first time that we had to pay a £20 per night retainer on our card. The receptionist explained why, but we were planning to stay for the whole festival next year, so that would be £140 on top of the room, parking charges and maybe a tourist tax on top! And we only live an hour away! It has put us off coming.

It was in a wonderful position with sea views across the bay, spar area was lovely & breakfast was nice.
As you approach the entrance there are broken tiles on most steps that are in need of repair.
The room we had was spacious & clean apart from thick dust on tv & fan. The bathroom was in need of modernising tiles were black & needed grouting. The shower over the bath was attached to the taps very old fashioned & dated hardly grand . The only grand part was the ground floor & spa .
There was a lovely bar man Ahmed who made us feel so welcome then as soon the night staff arrived the whole atmosphere changed the spirits were locked away ( hardly an all night bar) that never bothered us as we were going to our rooms not long after. What bothered us was the red haired night porter his attitude was terrible he was rude & blunt when explaining things he made us feel most unwelcome , letting down the other staff who were nice down. We paid a lot of money as there were four of us & didn’t expect that attitude on our hols.

Location - beach front
Cleanliness - dust everywhere , old fashioned interior. There was no fridge , no AC. Parking had to be paid for £10 a night and space was limited
