Beautiful setting. Comfortable rooms
Traffic noise from 5am onwards. It was very hot weather so we slept with our window open. Large lorries were approaching cross roads and braking hard which was very noisy.

Location is excellent for us as we chose this part of Wales to see the jet planes fly through Mach Loop and explore Snowdonia on our motorbikes. This was our second year staying at Cross Foxes and as always the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the food in the restaurant is always second to none.
Unfortunately there were a few little things wrong with our room; there was no firestick in our tv and despite bringing our own we still couldn't get it working so ideally the TV needs either replacing or repairing.
Not all the shower jets worked and the trap didn't drain properly.
Lastly on a selfish level I'd love the car park to be tarmacked for ease on my motorbike!

Great location for anyone travelling to the Mach Loop.
Bedroom was clean.
Dinner was delicious.
Very expensive for what it was - I don’t feel it was worth £340 for 2 nights.
Very heavy and thick duvet which was too thick for August and made for uncomfortable sleeps and not great ventilation in bedrooms.
Breakfast wasn’t the best.
