Exceptional

This place was great! Nice, well-cleaned, quiet neighborhood (no noises), and spacious and comfortable. Great communication and very attentive to our needs. The host was very nice! Breakfast was fantastic! Fresh fruit juices, different loafs (banana bread, carrot bread, quinoa bread, so on...), scrambled eggs, and coffee - I loved it. Bicycling, moping vehicle, walking distance to downtown/waterfront city, restaurants, cafes, tour agencies, shops, beaches, so on. I also enjoyed seeing many sea lions, marine iguanas, and sally lightfoot crabs, pelicans, and more....nearby this place. I highly recommend this place if you want to visit PUERTO AYORA (Santa Cruz) in the future.

Excellently Run

Joseline is an amazing and kind host who makes all the difference when you are traveling to a place like the Galapagos. The travel to the island is long and it’s not always going to be smooth as an American, but it’s in journeys like these when you want to have a host like Joseline. She looks after you 100% of the way: arranging transportation to/from the airport, helping with laundry needs, preparing excellent breakfast, and making sure you have the right provisions for any daily tours. She provided clear expectations about the island and tours so that there were not any surprises throughout my time in the Galapagos. Her care for all her guests and the property is apparent. The stay is worth it for the host alone. The property is kept very clean and it’s in a central location to be able to walk to all of the areas’ popular restaurants and shops. I enjoyed having a balcony outside my room on the top floor for private outdoor space. The morning breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, and eggs freshly cooked to preference. As a nice touch, Joseline prepared fresh fruit juice and bread/cake every morning. Thank you Joseline for a great time in the Galapagos and a comfortable stay in your hotel. I look forward to returning soon!

Comfortable, clean, quiet oasis in Puerto Ayroa.

Joseline is an extraordinary proprietor! The property is immaculate with a charming picturesque courtyard where an ample, fresh breakfast can be enjoyed. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with great air conditioning. Located within walking distance to the Main Street and anything you may want or need.

This property was perfect for me, there was nothing I did not like.

The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped, the property is beautiful and well maintained, the breakfast is delicious, the host was warm and very helpful!

This was the best value I have ever received for a hotel. Great quality stay and perfect location.

The staff were very helpful in planning logistics for my trip and very easy to reach before getting to Santa Cruz≥ The room was spacious, clean, had WiFi, strong air conditioning, clean water, incredible location, free breakfast earlier than restaurants open, very nice staff.

No issues. This was the best value I have ever gotten out of a hotel. I am recommending this hotel to everyone going to the Galapagos. We had no issues and really enjoyed staying here for over a week.

Prompt, Personal, Professional on Santa Cruz!

If I could turn the review up to 11 I would! The property is a gem and well maintained! The host, Joseline, went above and beyond over my 3 nights. From booking, taxi setup, check-in, tour confirmation, laundry service, and recommendations she was there. I appreciated the greetings throughout! And the breakfast each morning was ample and tasty from fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, fresh cakes / pastries, eggs-to-order, hot drinks, and juices! Best property I stayed in the Galapagos, but honestly one of the best I have stayed when traveling! Worth it!

An excellent property and wonderful host and staff ... highly recommended

We arrived 3 hours before the check-in time and I had injured my knee and had great difficulty walking. This was not a problem for Joseline who not only re-organized a ground floor room for us but also contacted a local medical center who were able to supply crutches. We could not have asked for any better support. Thank you Joseline.

Relaxing stay at Galapagos Suites

The rooms were simple but beautiful, breakfasts were delicious, and the owners so kind and thoughtful. We lived staying there and would recommend without hesitation. The owners are extremely helpful in suggesting things to do, and helping to arrange tours. X

There was nothing we disliked, the only point to be aware of, is it is not on the front, so there is a short uphill walk to the hotel. But the steps did us good, and it's really close to the action, even so. X

The place is beautiful, clean and well taken care of with an excellent location!

The host is great, very kind and welcoming. She cared about our well being and gave us great advice on our planned activities. Breakfast is delicious, a different cake and natural juice every day along freshly cooked eggs, granola, bread and jam. We stayed 5 nights, would highly recommend it and would love to be back!

Our Galapagos home

We loved staying at Galapagos Suites. The other comments have already mentioned everything, I guess, and I can definitely confirm it (spacious and very well-decorated rooms, comfy beds, good hot shower, yummy breakfast incl. freshly baked cakes, central yet quiet location, everything was spotlessly clean, etc.) - it is an excellent boutique hotel. But it was really Joseline and Josy who made our stay even more special - they were very helpful with everything and made sure we enjoyed the islands to the max. Joseline even put me on the phone with a doctor when I got a cold just before embarking on a dive cruise (liveaboard) to get some last minute advice. We were really sad to leave our Galapagos home and hope we will be back. In the meantime, whenever we are nostalgic, we have a tea in our Galapagos Suites blue-footed boobie mug. Thanks Joseline and Josy! ❤

More than just a hotel, but a must stay for your trip to Santa Cruz!

Beautiful hotel with a central location in town. Very well kept and clean. Comfortable hotel that made us feel like we were on vacation right when we stepped through the door. Joseline took care of us our entire stay in Santa Cruz, making sure we had taxis lined up and tours scheduled. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without her help!

Maybe the nicest place in town.

Beautifully-maintained, airy and stylish place just a short walk from the heart of Puerto Ayora. Very clean, and owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice Spanish-style patio/interior courtyard at ground floor where breakfast can be served. Excellent security. There are even hammocks on the lanais outside each room. I could live here. Have reviewed over a hundred places on Booking.com and this is one of the better ones, and most have been good.

There is no elevator to the upper floors, so not a good fit for people who can't climb stairs. Not sure if there are ground floor rooms.

A visual treat.

This is a small family-run place that is attractive, beautifully-maintained and clean. It is easy walking distance to downtown Puerto Ayora. Breakfast is plentiful, and tasty. The owners are kind, caring, energetic, and helpful. There is even a furled hammock on the veranda of each room for a nap if desired. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and security is very good, with a locked gate separating the interior courtyard/patio from the street, a la Spanish style. This was the favorite hotel of our trip.

As there is no elevator, and most of the rooms are on upper floors, it might be difficult for people with walking problems.

Simple, comfortable, and perfect.

Large room was simply and comfortably furnished. The four upstairs rooms have large wrap-around balconies where I enjoyed hanging out in the hammock. Joselina was an excellent hostess and helped us arrange a trip to the highlands one afternoon when our plans fell through. Good breakfast. Native plant garden is a nice touch. Quiet location in a neighborhood but easy walk to the waterfront. Conscientious COVID measures. Thank you for a great stay!

The name of this small hotel is a bit generic, so most taxi drivers didn't know where it was.
